Hi Guys, I have a question! I submitted my application Aug 2018 as a single applicant and got married in December. I informed CIC before and after the marriage about my change of status and that I want to include my spouse in my application. I never got an address in my account about the additional docs, instead an agent told me to just submit the Background forms, additional family information forms, proof of payment, etc as a single document in the CIC case web form. While gathering the supporting documents for my spouse, I got an E-mail that my application is about to be approved and that I should update my application by Email (I was given an Email address) and another step was that I should send my passport for the PR visa. I responded to that E-mail with my wife's documents and forms that has been filled but I did not get any acknowledgement and my status was never updated neither did it show that my wife has been included in my application. I have not sent my passport to them because I want to wait and insist that my wife be added with my application instead of having to wait to get PR and start thinking of sponsorship which takes very long time. All the cases I have read of people adding their spouses, they ususally got an address on their account and usually knew when their spouse was added because there will be additional slot for them to upload supporting documents insted of Email. I will appreciate any information or advice from anyone who has had similar experience |

nairalandnewbie: I assume your Eigibility is passed which is the most important check, security and criminally can be be done within 48 hrs as we have seen cases were agent says security not started and ppr came the following day. It will end in praise 7 Likes |

Guys, I am a bit confused about this new WAEC WES thing. Do they need both the WAEC scratch card and the WAEC result (from WAEC) or one of either. Is it enough to send just a scratch card or get WAEC to send your results? Or you have to do both? Pls help. Thanks. |

snoop4dem:I think you should call the call center and speak with an agent. That way, you will get correct feedback on the status of your application and whether they received the CSE. and you can also ask all the questions you have. However, a simple clue is to log in your application, if your spouse's details has not reflected yet then it's safe to say that she has not been added and sending passports would be a waste of time and money. |

This is probably why lately, applications are taking longer than we're used to https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/cbsa-permanent-residency-error-1.4978765 Apparently a "...subject of national security concern was granted permanent residency ... due to a series of failures on the part of both Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada and the CBSA." Therefore, In light of the incident both departments have had to introduce changes. 4 Likes |

Hello friends. The following were my duties as Graduate Engineer. Are they okay for NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineers)? - inspect craftsmen and technicians during machine setup and installation - Review and implement preventive maintenance schedules for vertical and carousel cutting machines - ensure that outsourced maintenance contracts are executed within budget, and in compliance with company standards - provide engineering support to maintenance team during preventive and breakdown maintenance - troubleshoot and assess whether machine parts should be repaired or replaced. - maintain a log of all preventive and breakdown maintenance and associated costs - Conduct failure analysis to identify root cause of mechanical failures |

snoop4dem: Hi, from your post (if am not mistaken)it looks like it wasnt CSE you raised, you updated your spouses supporting documents via Email ( to the email addtess you were given). I will advice that you raise CSE immediately with the supporting documents again while you also keep calling the call center continously until you get connected. My opinion 2 Likes |
