I read through comments made by those that participated in previous editions and majority were complaining about some tough mathematics questions. So please i want to appeal to those in charge of the questions to be considerate. Some of us are studying courses that don't have any element of calculation.. If at all there will be any mathematic question, it should be elementary... Something anyone with a good foundation in maths can solve.

But I've taken calculator now, it's been over 7 years. a great mistake from our side is to make compulsory mathematics questions. It would be inappropriate because 'not mandating' math questions is a perfect model for screening out the best.

I don't like mathematics anymore but I'm best at all other subjects of life. Especially purpose discovery niche!

I was great at math while I was in secondary school..7 years ago. I've forgot everything as I type this - including trigonometry and all the likes


Kindly help people like me please. If we fail math, that doesn't mean we cannot win the first position.

morever, the science students will be left to answer art related questions too.

Participants interested in this year’s edition are to take note of the following:

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION:

Eligible participants must

1. Be a Nairaland Member with account registered not later than 30th June, 2018.

2. Have made at least 6 posts on Nairaland prior to the date of commencement of the quiz

3. Have never been placed on Ban by a Nairaland moderator in the education section.

4. Be a Nigerian undergraduate in any tertiary institution in Nigeria.

If you know that you won't be able to present a valid form of identification when it is time to present the awards, I'll advise you to let go.

We'll consider things like year of admission, year of graduation, validity of school I.D card, etc.

on this ID card issue i have a question ... We were given a temporary ID card when i gain admision last year january but the ID Card expired in December 2018 and the practice is that when you are able to cross to 200 level you will be given a permanent smart id card.... Though we've paid but we have not been given yet. Hope this won't affect?
You can comfirm it from any UNILORIN student sir

I registered, 3 days ago or so. I haven't been shortlisted or receive any confirmation email. Yet I have passed all the criteria for this competition.
