Several things.. He has generally shown an interest in the super eagles over time. He has sung and danced super eagles victory songs on his social media for instance. There is definitely interest there if we approach him before he becomes a super star.

He is very close to Aina and if we want him we need to have him capped NOW.

He is going to go for stupid money although i doubt if Chelsea will let him go, remember he is only just turned 21 last month very young and promising. Because before you know it England call up. What i saw yesterday against Southampton was no fluke their victory was anchored on him.

He has progressed to another level it seems , it has taken near 4 seasons of competitive football but he is looking very very promising indeed. See some comments about yesterdays match. Although lets not go over the top like the Derby fan have , the question is consistency.

What is exactly not true ?

That from his teenage years at Chelsea he played as a RB and indeed his first game for Chelsea was at RB, he has always been known as a RB that is his primary position. So what is not true ?

On loan at Hull he started the season at RB, and then RW or right sided midfield and then a few games as LB, his versatility coming to play. He was voted on several times in to the Championship team of the week as RB. Is that also not true ??

Ola Aina played his second game for Torino, coming off the bench to replace Florenzi at RB against Roma. Is that not true also? His first game was also of the bench to play LWB in a fluid 3-5-2 formation. He has been playing a lot of games as LWB in their preferred fluid 3-5-2 formation , so you could be right that he may have played more games in LWB , I don't know.

However, the pertinent and relevant time line was when he came to the SE, he had always been a RB or RWB but was not given a fair chance in that his preferred position, that's my position. Then we took to the competition a clearly expired Echijiele, which until tomorrow i never understood.

But slight change of subject Ola Aina named fastest player over three seconds in Seria A, that's a crazy stat, didn't know he was that fast or is it the league isn't that fast, I don't know.

Ola Aina has played as a left back and a left wing back at Chelsea. It is not a position that he is a stranger to. It is that position that he picked a shirt at Torino.

As a pro, you need to take your chances.

His chance was at LB/LWB. I do not think Aina took his chance. It was just not convincing enough.

You are muddying the waters.

He played as a RIGHT BACK from day one at Chelsea and has flirted with RW, LB , he was called to the SE as a RB not a LB.

Its like saying because Sey Ojo has played as a striker instead of LW he is now a striker.

The fact remains before he went to SE he was RB all the accolades he won in the championship were as RB being versatile is not a disadvantage but his first position should be recognised.

Was Echijiele convincing enough

I disagree he was substituted in the second half of a game when we changed the formation to 3-5 -2 that favored an attacking approach. Otherwise the first half most of the players were poor.

Thats why I say it was not balanced and fair.

How well would Ebuehi do at LB or Idowu at RB that's why its not an issue of chances but giving the opportunity to express. i didnt think Aina was fast but hes just been said to be the fastest in Seria A over 3 seconds. I didn't witness his pace because he didn't really get the opportunity to show it.

Aina did not show clearly that he was better than Elderson when he was given the chance.

The coach had already decided on his right backs. It was up to Aina to convincingly snatch the positions available. He didn't.

And yes Ebuehi played very well when he played on the left at the World cup.

It's a pity I had to watch Villarreal because of Chukwueze. What an eyesore of a team.

I still don't understand what exactly is wrong with Villarreal. They've Quality players but I just don't understand why they are not getting results.

#Samuel Chukwueze scored a screamer .
That guy needs to leave this club after the season.
I hope he gets great offers.

Aina played as a RB at Chelsea from his early teens l watched him several times , then went to Hull played predominantly as a RB and RW and also LB But any good player should be versatile with at least two positions possibly three.

That's misinformation you have presented.

Aina isn't alien to the LB and LWB position, is he?
The left back was the main position he was invited to play in. The opportunity to displace Echijele was presented to him on a platter of gold..he simply didn't grab it...Echijele experience was what gave him an edge over Aina...

Chukwueze should stay at Villarreal till the end of the season jare.. grin .. Even if they get relegated, his stocks will rise as long as he performs well...

A good showing at the AFCON will be a bonus for him... By next season he might be seeing him at a better club...

Lost by 3 - 1

Chukwueze is way above that team. He was the best but they rarely gave him the ball and he had to spend the better part of the game defending.

When he scored he did not jubilate but ran to remind his team mate hugging the ball to hurry up.

It is clear the boy is a winner but his team is letting him down. They are full of schoolboy errors. Even the coach is suspect.

As Madrid and bayern are rebuilding and are on the look out for outstanding young talents, I forsee chukwueze joining one of them in the summer. Also a move to dortmund will be very good for his development

Whether it was arrangi or federal character or egunje, the fact remained that Aina had the opportunity to displace him..

If Rohr had already made up his mind to take Echijele he won't have called up Aina and Idowu..and he certainly wouldn't have given them more game time than Echijele
