What advantage has the human race over animals ? by Nobody: 5:09pm On Jan 18, 2019 |
"Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless." - Ecclesiastes 3:19 According to the bible, Human Beings have no advantage over animals. Please explain Apologists 1 Like |

frosbel2: "THE BIBLE" IS MERELY AN IDOL COMPILED FROM TRUE SCRIPTURES AND FALSE SCRIPTURES. It is not our God, neither is It a replacement nor substitute for our God. It cannot be an Absolute Authority without differentiation between True Scriptures of God and False Scriptures of God. NO BIBLE CHARACTER EVER CLAIMED TO KNOW EVERYTHING- NOT EVEN GOD. . LUKE 10:16-24. 16. "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth Him that sent me." 17. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, "Lord, even the Devils are subject unto us through thy Name." 18. And he said unto them, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. 19. "Behold, I give unto you Power to tread on Serpents and Scorpions, and over all the Power of the Enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." 20. "Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your Names are written in Heaven." 21. In that Hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and Said, "I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed Good in Thy Sight. 22. "All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who The Son is, but The Father; and Who The Father is, but The Son, and he to whom The Son will reveal him." 23. And he turned him unto his Disciples, and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: 24. "For I tell you, 'THAT MANY PROPHETS AND KINGS HAVE DESIRED TO SEE THOSE THINGS WHICH YE SEE, AND HAVE NOT SEEN THEM; AND TO HEAR THOSE THINGS WHICH YE HEAR, AND HAVE NOT HEARD THEM.' " Those who are intelligent will notice that KNOWLEDGE increases as The Bible's Timeline progresses. Those who are fools presume that everything anyone says is the Last Word for everything, and that nobody can know more than what some Bible Character said, when the amount of Organized Data- that is, Knowledge- was negligible relative to what was known later. Therefore, it is only fools who take the unnamed author of ECCLESIASTES as authoritative on the topic of the AfterLife. THE GOSPEL IS BASED ON KNOWLEDGE THAT THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS AND WISE MEN KNEW NOTHING ABOUT. oaroloye: . 1st SAMUEL 28:6-19. 6. And when Saul enquired of The LORD, The LORD answered him not, neither by Dreams, nor by Urim, nor by Prophets. 7. Then said Saul unto his servants, "Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her." And his servants said to him, "Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor." 8. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, "I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee." 9. And the woman said unto him, "Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?" 10. And Saul sware to her by The LORD, saying, "As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing." 11. Then said the woman, "Whom shall I bring up unto thee?" And he said, "Bring me up Samuel." 12. And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, "Why hast thou deceived me? For thou art Saul." 13. And the king said unto her, "Be not afraid: for what sawest thou?" And the woman said unto Saul, "I saw gods ascending out of the Earth." 14. And he said unto her, "What form is he of?" And she said, "An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle." And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself. 15. And Samuel said to Saul, "Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?" And Saul answered, "I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do." 16. Then said Samuel, "Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing The LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine Enemy? 17. "And The LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for The LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: 18. "Because thou obeyedst not The Voice of The LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath The LORD done this thing unto thee this day. 19. "Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the Hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the Host of Israel into the Hand of the Philistines." THE ECCLESIASTES DOCTRINE CONTRADICTS THE FIRST BOOK OF SAMUEL. The First Book of Samuel says that when the Prophet Samuel died, King SAUL was able to find someone to summon him from the dead to consult him for advice. We do not have to take THE BIBLE'S Word for it, that such a thing is possible: there are peoples who have DIVINERS with this capability ALL OVER THE WORLD. Therefore, the author of ECCLESIASTES did not know what he was talking about. . LUKE 16:19-31. 19. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22. "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the Angels into Abraham's Bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23. "And in Hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. "And he cried and said, 'FATHER ABRAHAM, HAVE MERCY ON ME, AND SEND LAZARUS, THAT HE MAY DIP THE TIP OF HIS FINGER IN WATER, AND COOL MY TONGUE; FOR I AM TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.' 25. "But Abraham said, 'SON, REMEMBER THAT THOU IN THY LIFETIME RECEIVEDST THY GOOD THINGS, AND LIKEWISE LAZARUS EVIL THINGS: BUT NOW HE IS COMFORTED, AND THOU ART TORMENTED. 26 'AND BESIDE ALL THIS, BETWEEN US AND YOU THERE IS A GREAT GULF FIXED: SO THAT THEY WHICH WOULD PASS FROM HENCE TO YOU CANNOT; NEITHER CAN THEY PASS TO US, THAT WOULD COME FROM THENCE.' 27. Then he said, "I PRAY THEE THEREFORE, FATHER, THAT THOU WOULDEST SEND HIM TO MY FATHER'S HOUSE: 28. "FOR I HAVE FIVE BRETHREN; THAT HE MAY TESTIFY UNTO THEM, LEST THEY ALSO COME INTO THIS PLACE OF TORMENT." 29. Abraham saith unto him, "THEY HAVE MOSES AND THE PROPHETS; LET THEM HEAR THEM." 30. And he said, "NAY, FATHER ABRAHAM: BUT IF ONE WENT UNTO THEM FROM THE DEAD, THEY WILL REPENT." 31. And he said unto him, "IF THEY HEAR NOT MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD." Lord Yeshua- who only raised more people from the Dead than anyone in History- should be taken as the Supreme Authority on this subject. He knew more than anyone in the Old Testament. Intelligent people know to learn from the Past, and move on, whereas fools repeat the same ignorance over and over again, as if they had not seen any new data to learn from. Of course, the PROFESSIONAL SHILL is PAID to IGNORE Facts, and PRETEND not to know TRUTHS, in order to obstruct the Learning and Enlightenment of others. . GENESIS 1:26-28. 26. And God said, "Let us make Man in Our Image, after Our Likeness: and let them have Dominion over the Fish of the Sea, and over the Fowl of the Air, and over the Cattle, and over all the Earth, and over every Creeping Thing that Creepeth upon the Earth. 27. So God created Man in His Own Image, in The Image of God created He him; male and female created He them. 28. And God Blessed them, and God said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the Earth, and subdue It: and have Dominion over the Fish of the Sea, and over the Fowl of the Air, and over every Living Thing that moveth upon the Earth." MAN WAS CREATED TO BE SUPERIOR TO THE ANIMALS- AND THEREFORE DOMINATE THEM IN EVERY FIELD. Including Wisdom and Understanding. . JOB 28:28. 28. "And unto Man He Said, 'BEHOLD, THE FEAR OF THE LORD, THAT (IS) WISDOM; AND TO DEPART FROM EVIL (IS) UNDERSTANDING.' " . JOB 39:13-18. 13. "Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? 14. "Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, 15. "And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. 16. "She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear; 17. "Because God hath deprived her of Wisdom, neither hath He imparted to her Understanding. 18." What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider." ANY INTELLIGENT PERSON THEREFORE KNOWS THAT THEY HAVE EVERY ADVANTAGE OVER THE ANIMALS, THROUGH GOD. . JOHN 8:42-53. 42. Jesus said unto them, "If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but He sent me. 43. "Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my Word. 44. "Ye are of your father The Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer From The Beginning, and abode not in The Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45. "And because I tell you The Truth, ye believe me not. 46. "Which of you convinceth me of Sin? And if I say The Truth, why do ye not believe me? 47. "He that is of God heareth God's Words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." 48. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, "Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a Devil?" 49. Jesus answered, "I have not a Devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 50. And I seek not mine own glory: there is One that seeketh and judgeth. 51. "Verily, verily, I Say unto you, 'IF A MAN KEEP MY SAYING, HE SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH.' " 52. Then said the Jews unto him, "Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets; and thou sayest, 'IF A MAN KEEP MY SAYING, HE SHALL NEVER TASTE OF DEATH.' 53. "Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the Prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?" HUMANS HAVE THE OPTION OF ATTAINING LITERAL IMMORTALITY. Animals cannot do that, because it requires WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING to deploy one's Spiritual Energies to neutralize and reverse Death. Therefore, only the truly ignorant and unintelligent would think that Humans have no advantages over the Animals, and should speak for themselves!

frosbel2: In this context, the author was referring to death. As regards to dying, human beings have no advantage over animals. Simply means both humans and animals can die. You understand? 1 Like |
