This has been bugging for quiet sometime now and need further clarification on it. Does the SSC recruitment happen the same time with the DSSC recruitment or do graduates apply all at once then during screening SSC and DSSC are differentiated? My reason for this question is that I graduated with a strong 2:2 which I still lament till date if not for some C's , and in the general requirements it clearly states that only graduates with first and upper class are allowed to apply otherwise calls for automatic disqualification; also I prefer being a combatant so there is that. So will like to know when the difference in SSC and DSSC application so as to know when to be on high already.

1. The NAF is enlisting graduates and post-graduates for training as Direct Short Service Cadets.

ELIGIBILITY

2. All applicants must be Nigerians not less than 1.66m tall for male and not less than 1.63m tall for female. Applicants should be between 20 and 30 years by 30 September 2020 (not more than 40years for Consultants).

QUALIFICATIONS

3. Interested applicants must possess relevant qualifications in the following fields: Medical Consultants, General Medicine/Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiography, Dietitians /Nutrition, Medical Lab Science, Medical Physiotherapy, Health Information Management, Environmental Health, Community Health, Optometry, Dental Therapy, Dental Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, Medical Physiology and Veterinary Surgery. The possession of second class upper or upper credit is a prerequisite.

CANDIDATE WITHOUT RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS IN THE ABOVE LISTED FIELDS SHOULD NOT APPLY
