the problem i have with a lot of us here is our short memories.

Mourinho was the coach of a club that puts results first before any other thing. The pressure to win trophies was there. The man could not afford to take unnecessary risk with players who are high risk takers in their style of play and were still making lots of mistakes, over players that would give him the result he was looking for.

I was on this thread and nobody was complaining when Mourinho was winning the trophies. But today everybody wants to sound intelligent because the man has gone and the young players have gone on to develop their games and work on their weak points at smaller clubs[which is good for them] to become stars.


If odoi mistakenly becomes a super star elsewhere now, gbam! The campaign go start on how sarri push this young star away. Then funny lineups like the one Afrodoc2 is putting up there will start coming out of how we would have dominated the league.
Nobody will remember that he was young and raw in a team of established players with experience , playing for a big club with pressure to win everytime and no time for young boys to develop.


Chelsea fans, you need to choose what you want from your team, Whether to be like this current chelsea or choose the Tottenham way and continue to dream of trophies we don't know when it will ever come.

Chelsea has had many legendary players but none in the ilk of Iniesta. Lampard was a better goal scorer, Makele was a better defender, Essien was the box to box king, Fabregas was an excellent deep lying playmaker, and so many others, but none is quite like Iniesta.
