I would've loved to answer you, but the answer is extremely blunt and honest. Nigerian men hate being told the truth and this is why we love politicians who lie and hate the ones who are honest. At the end, we still complain.

The moment you tell them the truth, they'll hate you, abuse you and say, "Go and make money." This is the reason most Naija men are into crime just for money.

The society has manipulated men. Guess what? The mother of these young boys unknowingly contributed to the manipulation. Luckily, the smart boys and men who read dating books have uncaged themselves with the unfiltered information they get from those books.

So, the best thing I do in cases like this is to put the truth in a book and sell it to the ones who are willing to listen and accept the truth. This way, I fulfill their, "Go and make money's," rant.
