Buhari’s absence was a good opportunity for him to shine but instead, he ran away. Someone asked on Twitter that if one attends a job interview and then realize that the other applicant didn’t show up, will the person run back home or take up the opportunity to shine? In Atiku’s case, he ran away only to blame the other candidate that didn’t show up.

For real, Atiku didn't get it right this time by not debating because buhari didn't show up.

At least Atiku came to the venue, he did well by showing up at all, but left because buhari wasn't there.

My final verdict is this: as long as am concerned buhari should go let someone younger and smarter with good educational background rule thus country. Period.

Atiku was there but refused to debate while Buhari missed out altogether. Being there showed his intentions.

If I were in Atikus shoe, I will debate and give my supporters more reasons to vote me. But just as he has his opinions, u bunch would have treated him like Jonathan by picking on him words by words ( which I feel he shouldn't have care)

Well this is politics, Buhari knows his target populations are not with televisions to listen to debates. But if the debate was to be aired on radio stations where am sure his people will surely listen I believe he will attend.

My own is that the election should just come and go already. Am tired of having bunch of thieves and destiny destroyers in the news at all times.

If truly that's what they want, why were most of them threatening not to vote for Atiku if he picks a Yoruba VP instead of an Igbo VP. Shouldn't they be concerned about the pedigree and track record of whoever the VP candidate is and not his/her tribe? Simple truth is they're supporting him because his VP candidate is Igbo. U absolutely right. Everyone knew buhari wouldn't show up even if he was debating alone or with 5year olds. So Atikus excuse to me wasn't good enough

I humbly wish to withdraw my support for the presidential candidate of PDP, alhaji Atiku Abubakar over the abysmal action he took yesterday at the debate ground.
His action clearly shows that Atiku has nothing to offer to Nigeria..It's a pity...
