Please the gurus in the house, quick one, if I put N1m in tbills tomorrow in Stanbic and leave it till 1 year, how much will it give me in total. Pls help a brother out before I start thinking of buying another yeye car again.
The last rate for 364 days(1year) was 14.5%
Hence,14.5% of 1,000,000=145,000(less residual charges)
You will get 145,000 per annum Less residual charges........

That's quick. Thank you plenty. Do I get the money #145000 immediately after they accept my money or at the completion(end of the year)?

Am having a strong urge to buy a new car around December too. After I decided to invest in tbills and the money left my account, the urge just disappeared. Suppose I have bought the car instead, I Should have spent more money on the car e.g. plate number, probably new tyre, or I might have even get the car scratched and trying to fix it. Am still managing my old car like that jare. Thanks to this forum

I had a similar experience with an Asset Mgt Coy last year and it was not palatable. Since then, I've been doing my top up with their app and it's been stress-free ever since. An alternative way to credit your wallet on i-invest is e-Billspay. This way, your wallet is credited real-time. No turenchi. You can pay via e-Bills from a branch of your bank or via Internet Banking. I hope this helps.
I always use "pay with debit/credit card" option. My account get credited instantly and i never had transaction issues with i-invest.

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nnamz(m): 7:58pm On Jan 20, 2019
I read comments that i-invest app is good for people overseas as they do not have to walk into a bank. For those overseas, please ignore these comments. Avoid i-invest. You do not need to walk into a bank to open a bank account, or do treasury bills. I have four Nigerian bank accounts: Zenith, GTB, First, and StanBic, and I did not open any while in Nigeria. I do tbills every two weeks and I have never walked into a bank for that. So you do not need to be in Nigeria, or even be Nigerian to open a bank account or participate in tbills. Again, avoid i-invest to avoid stories that touches the heart; learn from others mistakes. A word (well few wordswink) is enough for the wise.

Pardon me oo, if one can withdraw his interest once his bid is successful, does that mean one can also use the interest generated to purchase another TB either with same bank or another?
