Adiwana: So you think if Fraudiola is not satisfied with Fernardinho he wouldn't have bought another? So Fernardinho can't mark, can't run like Jorginho? Have a nice day brother. |

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said his players are "extremely difficult to motivate" as he heavily criticised their performance in defeat at Arsenal. The Blues lost 2-0 in the Premier League at Emirates Stadium on Saturday and only had one shot on target. Chelsea have only won two of their past five matches and are now just three points clear of the Gunners in fifth and sixth-placed Manchester United. "I'm really angry about the approach that we adopted today," Sarri said. "It's an approach we can't really accept." In a remarkable news conference after the defeat, Sarri said he wanted to speak in his native Italian rather than English "because I want to send a message to my players and I want my message to be very clear". "I have to say, I'm extremely angry. Very angry indeed," said the 60-year-old, who succeeded compatriot Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge in the summer. "This defeat was due to our mentality, more than anything else. This is something I can't accept. "This group of players are extremely difficult to motivate." 'This is not a team known for its battling qualities' Sarri's starting line-up against Arsenal included seven players who won the Premier League under Conte in 2017, before going on to finish fifth the season after. The Italian said: "This is not a team that is going to be well known for its battling qualities but we need to become a team that is capable of adapting, possibly suffering for 10 or 15 minutes then playing our own football. "You can find yourself in difficulties from time to time, but we need to react to those difficulties a lot better than we did today. motivation |

''Gonzalo Higuain's move to Chelsea has been put on hold temporarily, as Milan will need to secure a replacement before letting the Argentinian go. With that said, the Blues activity has been blocked. However, as it seems, this will be cleared up very soon. AC Milan have already reached an agreement in principle with Genoa for Piatek, who is expected to arrive on a permanent transfer for €40m. The player has also reached an agreement with the Rossoneri, set to earn around €2m per year. As soon as the deal is announced, which reportedly will take place on Tuesday, then Higuain's move to Chelsea will be finalized as well. From there on, the Stamford Bridge side will also be able to give their go-ahead to Atletico Madrid for Morata. In other words, two of their operations depend on Piatek's move to Milan.'' This Higuain sha. |

Sarri : “The club knows what I want, I’m sure they are doing their best but whoever arrives will have difficulties with the mentality of today”. Mr Sarri, please use players where their skills will be optimally utilized. I hope you are not making excuses already for Higuain. |

airmark: Simply because he 90% of the time plays against teams they dominate.Kante protecting Jorginho will make him look world class.Play him against good midfielders and watch him go into oblivion. This is ratings from the match against Belgium in the WC.Note that I didn't see this ratings before and I just pulled it from the internet just now because I remember watching him as that day and knowing how poor he was in that match. He also left Dante and Luiz open against Germany in 2014 and lost possession that led to a goal in that match.Reason I brought this up is because this is the highest matches he's ever played and to show his deficiencies against better teams.Hes a very poor midfielder https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi2i4Sfw_zfAhUOLFAKHTl3D7QQzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Fnews%2Fbrazil-1-2-belgium-player-12868019&psig=AOvVaw2rm4haeK8kTL9odibN4KKL&ust=1548079383219516 2 Likes

Anyways, back to Chelsea. I will say what I said before.Sarri is a 1 dimensional coach that is using lack of strikers as an excuse to cover up his lapses. He plays the same formation Week in Week out.I can easily predict his starting line up,game strategies and formation next week.I know the exact substitutions hes going to make in the match. If I know all this as a spectator, what then will happen as a coach. He doesn't adapt to his opponets formations, refuses to play Kante in his natural position, thinks Kante should be shooting, heading and scoring as a midfielder and ffs, thinks Jorginho is the next Xavi. After everything,is either he blames the whole squad, blames lack of strikers or blame Kante for either not scoring enough or not covering Jorginho where as he's busy trying to score. This guy is a clown and I don't see him lasting more than this season on the job 1 Like |

airmark: How can you say "no matter the pressure"? There is just no evidence on earth to back this up and you know it. What you are seeing is a manifestation of many opponent's perception of the futility of such of move. The truth is Iniesta and Modric play for teams where targeting a player makes defending as a unit potentially dangerous, because there is always another player just as effective. Therefore the whole plan is non-starter. So because you hardly see this done, you assume Modric "no matter the pressure" will not be marked out of a game. No conclusion can be more wrong. If you put Modric as regista in Sarri's system and then Kante and Barkley alongside him, he becomes infinitely easier to mark out. And this is exactly why it is easier to mark out Jorginho. Conversely, if Jorginho played in the same role alongside Verrati and Modric in midfield, and Hazard, Salah and Aguero in attack, who becomes the target? Opposition teams will have to approach defending from a different angle, focus less on man-marking an individual and suddenly Jorginho becomes infinitely more effective. Jorginho is not an average player by any stretch of the imagination. This dude averages 90 passes per game consistently when not man-marked. Easily the player with the most passes in the league (over 150 more than Laporte in second place) and he's not even in the top 40 for most minutes played. Which means his passes per minute is infinitely off the charts. You don't do that by being average. You don't do that by being lazy either. Jorginho covers an average 12km per 90mins, putting him easily in the top 3 for distance covered in the PL. More than Kante who is known to cover the world (correct as at the last time I followed the stats). Chelsea's problems are not Jorginho's fault. It is not his fault either that he gets targeted easily. He gets easily targeted primarily because apart from Hazard, the whole Chelsea 11 are not dangerous with the ball. You can blame Sarri's system or blame something else, but less of this Jorginho thing abeg. It's not like he's Bakayoko who loses the ball before it reaches him. This is why I don't get the overall premise of this argument. 12 Likes 1 Share |

nateevs: All of which brings us back to my assertion of last night: Jorginho is not competent to implement the regista role. Even if you brought a team of state of the art cyborgs to play alongside Joggy, installed with the latest version of skynet... Jorginho will still be the weakest link, as long as Sarri continues to play a style of football that requires all the play to pass through him. Because, all play has to pass through akpuruka, all you have to do to destabilise the team is press akpuruka, and he will willingly bend over and pull down his pants. If play has to go through teammates, then it is no longer Sarriball as we currently know it. And so the logical conclusion of your post appears to be: 1. Sarriball must go or, 2. Akpuruka must go. 2 Likes |

Some real fans think it's normal to have just a shot on target against Arsenal so let's all just support the manager. In Sarri We Trust!! |

I hope Sarri remember that Conte was stubborn and from Italy too. Atleast that one blames himself after f-ups,this one is blaming players as if they're the ones that played his lanky fvkboy at the base of the midfield. |

Since Ginho is now a problem, we dont even have a back up for him. Barella isn't coming probably because of his pregnant wife not because we can't pay €40m. then what about paredes no one knows. Maybe Chelsea wants to sign Rabiot |
