There is absolutely nothing wrong in believing in nature as long as you are spiritually fulfilled. The Creator exist in all things. There is equally nothing wrong in going to church, but if you seek spirituality, you won’t find it in churches. By spirituality, I mean Salvation.

I think it is because you really miss him. I think you should see a therapist or a psychologist.

I've done some things for him earlier especially immediately after his sudden death. He came in the dream some time ago and showed a document his mum was searching for weeks at their house. I went to their house that morning, got inside his room and brought out the documents from where he hid them exactly the place he showed me in the dream.

Recently, it's about a lady I don't even know and haven't met. In the dream, he had her as girlfriend and was about to propose. When the time came for that, I suddenly couldn't see him near me so I proposed to the girl on his behalf giving her a reason that my friend was shy.(I mean who does such) It was just real and he later showed up and started laughing sheepishly.

There are more stories and the thing is that I never thought about him before sleeping.

I gave a simple exercise - write down your dreams every night when you wake up. Before you sleep, pray to your Creator to understand the things of the spirit. Be honest and consistent. Your answer shall surely come. Don’t do a Nigerian on this one - I mean shortcut or quick fix.

You will have to work and earn it and even at that you will still continue to work your spiritual exercises. Gradually, you shall begin to see the light.

Of course your friend is existing somewhere. But the issue now is whether his state is bettee than your's or worse. If he's in a better state, (heaven), he might be asking God to help you through your challenges in life. If he's in a bad state (but not condemed), he may be expecting you to pray to God for him.
Two of you were very good friends, does not mean he will just die like that and forget you. As you remember him, so is he remembering you.
Pray for him to God. And Pray to God for yourself,
He is trying to get your attention very close to God.
He can see God, you cannot.
I too have a friend who appears in my dreams. Usually when I do very bad things. He doesn't talk. He just look at me. If he was alive, I can't do those bad things in his presence.
We were close when I was little. He died, 2005-6. When I wake up, i realise my foolish ways and confess my sins.

Finding spirituality is a personal endeavor.

Everyone should discover their own truths and create their own philosophy, based on their experiences and knowledge, not merely following the philosophies of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc. as religionists do.

You can develop YOUR OWN spirituality by first researching about religions. Think critically about the teachings of holy books (the Bible, Qur'an, etc.). Read about the histories of religion and understand the part religion play/played in politics, colonialism, and slavery.

Reading the threads of Nlers, like musicwriter, OtemSapien, and some Nl atheists may help in this regard.

It takes time to do these things, but doing the research is quite worthwhile.

It's always good to approach things with an open mind, shun dogmatism, and understand the fact that religion is mainly about CONTROL, politics. Nothing more, nothing less.

If your background is in the sciences, you will make progress faster about your spirituality. If you're science-savvy, you also need to study philosophy (visit websites that discuss philosophical concepts like www.one-mind-one-energy.com and the likes).

Reading articles and books on logic and philosophy is also beneficial for people without any background in science.

These things take time and no single field has all the complete knowledge, whether it's science, religion, philosophy, atheism, etc. Some just have more complete and beneficial info than others.

Seeking knowledge is a lifelong process and is key to one's development and progress in life.

Not taking your spiritual exercise serious and hoping things fall in place for you - that’s wishful thinking - what I call the Nigeria way of doing things. It will not work.

Have an open mind. I think someone else mentioned some other stuff you can do. Research, read, study. However, before you commence, like in my case. Pray to your Creator to show you the truth and lead you to light. Be emotional with this prayer. Truth will come. My brother please note that Truth may not come at once. It will come piecemeal, maybe through a friend willingly to share information with you, through a book even the Bible. But start with that prayer and write your dreams down. Then be open and stay alert.

You shall surely be free from the shackles of falsehood and fraudulent pastors. Many are called, few are chosen. When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

Sighs I miss them so so much !

I listen to them and I always remember when I wake up .

they've helped me in solving serious issues in real life when am stuck wit problems . Theyve been a great help to me in this world and they also advice me , which I use on my daily life . sometimes I feel their presence around me in real life . Have disciplined my mind and subconscious in such a way that I get to hear their voice especially if am in a very tight corner and looking for a way out. If not for my mum sharp voice, who told me to quickly stepped on my brakes when I was about to crash and somersault with my car , I would have been in ICU by now . Because there and then I was confused as my car was about to crash but she quickly said , step on the brakes now! And I did. Just few seconds I would have hit a bridge and somesaulted cos I was confused but she came quickly on time to diffuse my confused mind . People watching me from the road just placed their hands on their heads with screams thinking have already crashed but my car stop! With my leg firmly on the brakes. I was in shock! Until a man walked up to me with uncertain looks and calmly direct me to drive slowly to a nearby filling station to park and get my self back!

Honestly I thank God I can still connect with them.

Your late brother is Jesus Christ in disguise as him and your late mother is the Holy Spirit in disguise as her. The money they give you is what manifests physically in your life through various means. Hope this helps to give you clarity or a better perspective of your dreams.

@Op, dont mind those telling you its normal, it is not. 10yrs is too long to be seeing a death person, you even see him like 3 or more times in a week.
I hope you are not the architect of his untimely death. If their be any ties between the two of you, you need prayers to break it.
If you keep taking the dream for granted and think its normal, hhmmm, I pray he doesnt come and take you with him one day. Dont wait till then.

I was a Christian and still keep to some good Christian morals. I still pray through Christ. The idea is the earnesty in the prayer and not the medium.

There is no Hell. There are Heavens and not just one Heaven. There is no land of the dead. Death is a continuum of life, a necessity to living. I don’t believe in the existence of demons. Are they extraterrestrial beings - YES. Like I previously said, no extraterrestrial being would come to you, if you don’t invite them either via rituals or strong desires. Extraterrestrial beings do not bring harm. They come with messages. However, you have to be spiritual prepared. The reason why subconscious use familiar faces is because you are familiar with those individuals and you won’t get scared.

In the astral plane, it’s often advise to move without fear because what you think would manifest. If you think of demons, like the image you know them to be, you would see these monsters chasing you. However, they are your creation, you created them. Another example is being chased in the dream, FYI - dream state is also Astral plane.

Also one important thing - in the Heavens - LOVE is the only existence. Feeding and growing in the Love of the Creator. That feeling wey dey sweet belly, multiple am by 1million Times, that’s how you feel. Sweet sensation.

Finally, it’s good to know God or the Creator. It’s a beautiful experience. It is your TRUTH. No man or smooth speaking individual a.k.a pastor would ever deceive you or replace such experience. There are enormous benefits knowing God and pursuing spirituality
