If you dont have something meaningful to say, its better u keep mute than to be misleading peeps here.. We have seen peeps here writing a 7 page SOP who got their Visas.. It isnt written on the canadian website that SOP should be so number of pages, please be guided. @johnsonsegxy Ur 3 page SOP isnt much at all.. So far you can convince the VO in ur SOP that you are a genuine student that will come back to ur home country then u are good to go.. Peace vibrant99: 2 Likes |

If the fund is transfered to someone's account, how long will it have to stay before the statement is printed. Thanks. mcobex: |

mcobex: Please, I would like to ask... What advice would you give to someone who wants to sponsor themselves? With a bank balance of 15k cad. Would this be an advantage or must you have a sponsor different from oneself? Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by LearnAndObey: 1:09am On Jan 21, 2019 |
Hello, my sponsor is in the US and he is doubting if the soft copy of his bank statement is enough to apply for the visa? 2) If not, what is the most easiest way to send me his bank statement? 3) What other document is needed from bank or him? I just want to make sure I don't stress him. Thanks. |

Please group, I applied to University of Saskatchewan in the year 2017 and wasn't given admission despite meeting all their requirement, I am applying this year, those that have gotten admission in this school, how did you do it?, |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by ifeanyimoses: 1:26am On Jan 21, 2019 |
Please my lovely group, Apart from Uni of Manitoba and Uni of Saskatchewan, pls which school in Canada again uses last two years of undergraduate study for their admission requirement. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Naijaforeigner: 3:16am On Jan 21, 2019 |
Alezie: A quick one. Convincing the VO why you are going for another UG via your LOE might be very difficult (not impossible). To make lif easy, why don’t you apply for masters or PG admission in another school (still keep your UG admission), get your visa and when you get to Canada, you change to the previous school for your UG. |

Chukwuemekatehi:No specific timeframe, but you and your sponsor should mention the transaction in your SOP and letter of support respectively and it's purpose |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by mcobex: 7:59am On Jan 21, 2019 |
bikerboy1:Self sponsorship is a good thing as long as the fund(15k cad) will be enough to take care of your studies (tuition , living expenses....) |

@thaiwo I'll suggest you first ask yourself this question, when you've gotten an answer that you're comfortable with, then draft a rough but detailed Statement of Purpose from your answer and ask someone to proof read it for you. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bracha: 8:38am On Jan 21, 2019 |
mysticken: I don't know much about this but i'll add somethings: - did you explain the lack of a transcript in your Statement of Purpose (SOP)? - did you explain the reason for going for an apprenticeship program even after you have a diploma certificate (i'm guessing this is what the transcript is for) in your SOP? If you did explain, then I think you're okay - i'm saying what is in bold lettering, out of a very limited experience. So please wait for someone who has a better understanding of these things. I don't know how the ND certificate is verified or if the lack of a transcript will affect your chances of an approval. |

Hello Good-people of this great thread. For awhile I have been pondering on some vital issues, and I will need your sagely inputs. I plan using my 2nd cousin who is based in Canada as my sponsor, and I have been observing from posted timelines that most persons get refused student visa because of have such ties abroad. How do I go about this? Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by chukky6443(m): 11:20am On Jan 21, 2019 |
Hello everyone. Please I need your input on this...the school I want to apply to requires me to upload a softcopy of my transcript first but I don't have it. My school can only send directly to them but not softcopy. The school says they need my unofficial transcript, will request the official one when it's time. Also, they need the GPA of the last two years of my UG study which I cannot submit without seeing the transcript. How do I go about getting the transcript from my school (UNN)? I mean how I can get it handy. Please I need your assistance. |

johnsonsegxy: vibrant99: Oga situation varies, don't condescend anybody with your 1 & half page of SOP. What's the essence of a 1 & half page of SOP when your case is not properly outlined, or those that got approvals with 5-7 pages of SOP are daft to not want a page SOP?! What matters most is for the main points that reflects the application concerns to be concise & detailed. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bracha: 2:52pm On Jan 21, 2019 |
kerry101: Book a One-way ticket. Those who book 'return tickets' are those who intend on returning at a later date. |
