I haven't yet. I've been busy all day but I'll check it out tonight.

I've seen the groups. I think they can make it out but Esperence and Sfaxien are not easy teams and I think that one of these two will definitely make it out of the group. The Burkinabe club to me is the weakest team in this group.
I hope Rangers pulls it off. Atm, they are unbeaten in 6 games (qualifiers and rounds 1 and 2).

Group A has 3 Moroccan clubs and group B has 2 Tunisian clubs. I know it's possible but I find it hilarious grin

Moroccan clubs are giving a good account of themselves on the continent- all 4 in the group stages (3 in CAFCC and 1 in CAFCL).

I think it is Etoile Du Sahel.

On 3 Moroccan teams being in One group, and also two Tunisian teams being in another group where there are 4 groups, some times I wonder what is going on in the head of those CAF officials. I am begining to think that the NFF is even better than them.

Just to carry out simple draws in such a way that no 2 teams from one country will be in the same group they cannot do. It is just like having Manu, ManCity and Spurs in the same Champions league group. Ahmad Ahmad has again confirmed he is a big joke.

Considering the record of Nigerian Teams in North Africa, Rangers' chances in that group is very slim to be honest. They may only draw confidence from their unbeaten away run. But the huddle is higher at this stage.

UWC.

Did you actually follow how the seeding and potting were made for 3 Moroccan,2 Zambian and 2 Tunisian Clubs to be in the same groups?

The E.S.S team is thankfully not Esperance they are in the champions league. The group looks scalable on paper. They might have to settle for second but they should make it out.

As for Morocco remember that a team had to lose out of the champions league for them to have 3 in the confederation cup

I know but I still think that overall they've done a good job .
This is also means money for their FA. The prize money for the fourth position in the CAFCL group stage is $550,000 and for CAFCC group stage it is $275,000. The FA gets a 5% equivalent payment.

Come on, Ighalo is not 17 year old to be picking up new things.

At a certain age, it is hard to pick up new things.

Aguero is older than Ighalo but I am certain he has picked up a few things under Pep. Even if you are 50 years old you can learn a few things like positioning, movement and stuff, there are some things you cannot learn but though but I doubt finishing is among them. Like I said if he trains with the likes of Messi I am sure his finishing abilities would improve a lot

Ok.

I wish Rangers the best. They need to be at their best to scale through that group. Secure all home wins first and then fight for away points.

Aguero was a top world class striker before Pep joined Man city. He did not become a top striker because of pep. At 29, Most strikers are either at their peak or past it. There is very little room for improvement at that age. 17, 18, 19 year olds usually have more capacity to improve. Ighalo will not suddenly become a great striker because of Messi. He will get more chances to score because of the people around him. that's about it.

playing behind closed door will be a soft punishment atleast 10 point or 5 deduction will be okay
Mickael2:

Hit the club hard for what some fans(not all) did? I mean this is a 22-24 match season and you all want points deducted from Remo Stars because of what some hoodlums did? Fine them, make them play behind closed doors no problem, but point deduction is absolutely inappropriate

It appears Nigeria's 4 slots in CAF competitions have been restored, thanks to Nigerian clubs performance last season and this season on the continent.

Maybe it would but the punishment will be playing home games away from home and a suspended point deduction.

jst three things,
1. Banishment from home,

2. Heavy fine ( to send a warning to others,)

3. This might be the first time their home supports will do such, or if it had been done before, points should be deducted

It is not the first time fans have done such. Sad to say but this is pretty normal in the league.

I mean Remo fans, if its the first time, they should be penalize with hose two point I raise above,

or if they had done it before a nine point deduction

yes,
even if they get relegated,

we need to start from some where, to show how serious we are,

plus, the referees, must be grilled, cos there is no fire without smoke

Money is a major factor when Nigerian players go to Turkey. Unlike the top leagues, they do not get taxed in Turkey.

With good agents, Awaziem should have been able to get a loan deal to Ligue 1 since he has experience there and did well.

It is even more annoying because the boy had decent offers in the summer and Porto refused to sell only to abandon him on the bench.
it's sad, they should be motivated by success and having a name that will be on everybody's lips even long after they retire

Good attacking football from Rangers. I like this Ogunbote guy. He should be one of the potential options to take over from Salisu with the CHAN Team and SE assistant coach if you ask me.

The Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium has a lovely pitch that allows players to fully express themselves. Kudos to the Enugu government.

Maybe 4 points but 9 points is too harsh

And trust Nigerian referees to be unprofessional

One thing that is remarkable about Guardiola is that he improves players. I once pointed out that Messi was in the top 3 among the best players in the World but, Guardiola was able to improve him.

Aguero looked a finished article before the arrival of Guardiola. After the arrival of Guardiola and later Gabriel Jesus, we saw a dramatic increase in the quality of Aguero. Most especially his work rate, which is something that is now close to phenomenal.

So a player can still improve despite his advancement in age.

Poverty was what drove many of them into football not fame

You can't expect them to leave their major motivation and be chasing another thing

(And a professional footballer has his whole village to feed)

Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo has been ranked the best Nigerian player in the big five leagues in Europe (Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1) for the month of December.

International Centre for Sports Studies - CIES Football Observatory has rated players on a match-by-match basis by taking into account the pitch production and efficiency at both individual and collective level.

CD Leganes central defender Omeruo was the best rated Nigerian player at 75.3 and was 265th of the 751 players ranked.

Last month, Omeruo consistently delivered for CD Leganes in the Spanish topflight, helping the club remain undefeated with one win and three draws and went the distance in all the four matches.

The Super Eagles star was the standout performer for CD Leganes, going by the ratings and the 69th best footballer in Spain.

Udinese defender William Troost-Ekong made it into the list with a rating of 72.8 and ranked 374th.

Ola Aina (Torino), Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City) and Alex Iwobi (Arsenal) complete the top five Nigerian players for December 2018.

Top Five Nigerian Players For December 2018

1) Kenneth Omeruo - Leganes - 265th - 75.3
2) William Troost-Ekong - Udinese - 374th - 72.8
3) Ola Aina - Torino - 450th - 71.3
4) Wilfred Ndidi - Leicester City - 473rd - 70.8
