CJN controlling millions of dollars. cheesy Politicians dey pay sha.

2015 elections in Rivers, AkwaIbom and Abia annulled by the Election petition tribunal and Court of Appeal, but judged to be free and fair by the Supreme Court of Corruption.
Wike and Co don pay.

Na why Wike and South South governors dey defend Onnoghen as if he's a member of PDP.

PDP has corrupted the entire arms of govt in Nigeria. From National Assembly(ghana must go era) to Civil service to Judiciary.
When Justice Ayo Salami exposed their rigging in 2007 and caused PDP to lose Edo, Ekiti, Ondo and Osun states, they forced him out of office and amended the law to force guber polls petition to reach supreme court.

Almost everything wrong with Nigeria today is PDP, including the corrupted citizens that come out to defend corruption.

@the bolded........we now know why. Na there dey get "reliable" people. Thieves!!!!

This Buhari regime is useless. The thing is that all this mumu blackmail will never make him resign.

How can a government agency go through someone's financial history and goes ahead to leak it to the press without carrying out any investigations!!!?

It is not a crime to deposit money in bank.It is not a crime to invest your money. It is not a crime to legitimately acquire FG's property.

This mimu.blackmails will not work.

Justice Onnogen will remain the CJN whether the APC likes it or not
Whenever any corruption case of any PDP bigwig is brought forward, you're always the first on this forum to defend them with so much gusto without caring whether they're guilty or not. I hope you're compensated well.

Then the CJN should grant a press interview..... Silence does not always mean innocent........ He seems to love injunctions.......

Morality vs Legality................

This is not about press interview, everything will be tested in law.

of course he is allowed to forget by law.It is not a crime to forget but rather to deny when confronted is when he would have committed a crime. It is all contained by section 3(d) of the CCB act

The section says...

3 (d) receive complaints about non‐compliance with or breach of this Act and where the Bureau considers it necessary to do so, refer such complaints to the Code of Conduct Tribunal established by section 20 of this Act in accordance with the provisions of sections 20 to 25 of this Act:

Provided that where the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or noncompliance, no reference to the Tribunal shall be necessary.

Can you explain the highlighted.Did the CJN break the law?

Bros look at the big picture. Can't u see the cabals have an hidden agenda?

why the haste 30 days to an election? with unprecendented speed?

why didnt they arraign babachir Lawal with such speed?

If they have a very solid case, why all this media trial? why not just follow due process and get him removed?

Let the NJC try him? since he is the head he should be recused and let the body examine him

Dont fall for the antics of the cabal.

We should know that CJN is not the only one with such amount found, proper investigation should reveal other ones,.if such money is true verification,,,then why and how did he get such cash, when there are no jobs for the average class, Nigeria is still battling to recover from its lapses, where things are not right, cheating, inequlities etc,.
[b]IF CJN case is really true,WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF ALLOCATION,? ARE THERE NO CHECKS AND BALANCES IN THE FEDERAL LEVEL OR STATE? ARE THERE NO PREVENTIVE MEASURES PUT IN PLACE TO CHECKMATE THIS THAN REACTIVE INVESTIGATION(When it is already commited).SHOULD WE NOT FOLLOW THE ADVANCED COUNTIRES IN THEIR STYLE OF FINANCIAL GOVERNANCE AS WE AS OTHERS?
I NEED RESPONSE TO THIS QUESTION PLEASE------
The current Government should bring to justice every looter and no exception to justice,BUT THERE SHOULD BE FAIR PLAY in the course of Justice.
currupt officials should resign.

All this mumu investigators why not conclude your investigations before going to the media. There is nothing wrong with the CJN having investments. In fact judges are supposed to invest so as not to fall to temptation by accepting bribes.

All this media trial is hogwash. If you think you have a smoking gun then take it to the NJC.
bro no one is saying he shld not invest but why cant he declare all his investment and all these monies found in his account if they are not fraudulently acquired

bros he has done what is required by law as contained in the CCB act by admitting he forgot to declare. There is no case against the CJN.The CCB has no business going to the CCT or even the NJC going by section 3(d) of the CCB act.

My Bro I fully agree......

But let's not also ignore morality vs legality........ We know the corruption war is selective, if both sides keep fighting
selective corruption...... Eventually, corruption would cancel itself...........

You took the words right out of my mouth. The CJN did not hide is money in any foreign bank, he held the money in Nigeria and in his own name.

The Government took months to confirm his appointment, and in that time he ought to have been vetted , screened and cleared for office.

Why are they now pretending they only just discovered these accounts? Are the monies from illegitimate sources? Why come to press with 'suspicions'? Is it to sully a man's reputation?

in europe, even as an ordinary resident.if any strange money enters my account beyond what I earn.i will be summoned to give account of it.we need to get to the level where everybody is questionable to the source of their wealth.it is in nigeria, you see a young boy driving the latest jeep and even in europe where you manufacture them, they hardly use them.it is in nigeria where you see people applaud criminals because they are members of their tribe.it is in our country that when you try to expose corruption, they tell you that you are also corrupt and they dig into your past life to find cases where you have been involved in corruption.i was discussing with somebody that a particular government was corrupt and the person told me that even thou that government was corrupt, every body enjoyed. any body with ridiculousamount amount of money should be able to explain the source.
