A hippopotamus was hunted and killed by villagers in Kogi state. It was gathered that the large mammal was allegedly terrorizing the people of Ikumo and it environs within the state before it was finally gunned down.

The hippo was butchered on Tuesday, January 22nd (yesterday) at about 5:45 pm, according to reports.

The excited villagers posed with the dead animal to celebrate the big kill.

Those animals kills more ppl than a lion, a tiger and a crocodile combined!
Even the ones Pablo Escobar imported to his medellin ranch has become a nuisance to them so the colombian government even encourages there controlled killing.
