Hello all, I've been following this thread passionately and would like to thank all the gurus that have helped so many of us. I have a question, is there a maximum that can be invested in T-Bills? I don't mean unreal amounts, but if one had access to say N2B, can you lodge that for a 364 day term lets say? Either on primary or secondary market? |

LadyBeee:15% was the last stop rates...Hence,next primary market Auctions, most reputable banks will bid for 15%. StanbicIBTC....GTBANK......... Most expecially, STANBIC IBTC bids are always closest to stop rates.. |

Kolping:Nice one! You could also make this tool into a simple app for android. Just to ask, does it take into consideration the VAT and other charges that the bank will collect? |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Gavrelino123: 10:18pm On Jan 24, 2019 |
LadyBeee:First Bank is now a rip off when it comes to bids rates.....They use to be Number-1 2nd to StanbicIBTC.. Their bids are quite low compared to the aforementioned Banks....!! 2 Likes |

Please I just want to confirm my assertion, does this mean if I invest for 99days I get 11%. If I re- invest the money for another 99days that's another 11%. If that's the case is it not better that way than investing for 364 straight days which will just give you a little below 15%. Please I need clarification, thank you. Izuogu1: |

NL1960: The best write up I have read this year, I have moved from tb tread to stockt tread loading my portfolio to come back to tb during second quarter. That is the different between the rich and the poor, an average poor man does not want to take further risks to have financial freedom not to talk of being wealthy. The More risks one take, the better his financial future is. The rich will always get richer while the poor will always get poorer and this I have personally tested cos in those days when I started buying stocks my friends were making jest of me that the CEO of those company were using my money to buy cars but I never allowed that to disturb me but today they still struggle to pay house rent and struggle to pay schools fees. being focus on my part, I have moved from dividend of 100naira to 500k and hoping to get 1.2m this year in dividend not to talk of capital appreciation while playing tb game for the rest of the year to get more money. My colleagues are still running mad rat race. To be wealthy genuinely it comes Wit a price and failure to pay the price, we will subject our posterity to hardship in the long run. May God continue to bless our hustle. But no cross no crown 13 Likes 1 Share |

sammywalterz:It doesn't work like that. If u invest for 99 days, you are literally going to get about 2.99% of your money because all the rates are based on per annum. 3 Likes |
