President Muhammed Buhari is the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the upcoming presidential election on 16th February 2019. He will be contesting against 70 other contenders but let’s look at his chance of winning or losing in the upcoming election.
His main opponent Mr. Atiku Abubakar in recent days has proved him wrong with the issue of securing a US visa, even thought it was reported that he bribed his way out in the trump administration.
Meanwhile, President Buhari won the 2015 Election by defeating the incumbent president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, with about 2 million vote margins. He won mostly the northern areas, southwestern states, to emerge as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He campaigned mostly in 2015 election with the popular slogan “change”.
President Buhari will be challenged at the poll by other 70 presidential candidates with Atiku who is emerging as the major opponent against the incumbent president.
Let’s look at some facts, which may prove that president Buhari might likely get elected for a second term.
President Buhari Social Investment Program
The plan consists of NPower, soft loans for farmers and market women and school feeding program for the students of primary schools which has employed thousands of people indirectly and directly.
Infrastructure
President Buhari emerged on building different projects across the six geopolitical zone in Nigeria. The popular river niger in the southeast, which has been left unattended in the zone. He also emerged on road construction, rail station, across the whole country. Which has never been done in the history of Nigeria.
The Northern and South Dominance
Currently in all six states in southwest states in Nigeria, it’s being dominated and ruled by the president party which is the All Progressive Congress (APC). In the northern region which is the incumbent home, he enjoyed a lot of supports from this zone having provided infrastructure, loans to the farmers in this region. The president also has the history of been winning some major states in the north since his quest for the presidential race.
Anti-corruption crusade
President Buhari promised to fight corruption in the country being a major obstacle to the growth of the country and was because of the high rate of corruption in Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Government, that made Nigerians voted his government out. Billions of Naira and properties houses have been recovered and many people have been convicted.
The Qatari news channel, Al Jazeera also confirmed this week the cost of electioneering in Nigeria has greatly reduced compare to old times where money will be flowing in all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria. The government was not shutdown in Nigeria and the atmosphere of election is not felt in the country like before.
With the president promising to take Nigeria to its next level, having signed the “Not Too Young To Rule Bill” which he promised the youths to hand over the government to them. The president has pledged to appoint youths into his cabinet if elected this year. This move could bring a new dynamic with the youths having the highest votes in the country.
The future of the Federal Republic of Nigeria relies on 67.4Million voters, are you going to choose right?

Not with what Nigerians are plotting to do to his sorry arse this failbuhari.

Atiku's showing in Kaduna, which is considered one of Buhari's stronghold has shown clearly that Nigerians are holding their future in their hands.

If it was someone like Dankwanbo or Markarfi, we would have been asking such questions.
PDP lost it immediately Atiku emerged it's flagbearer.
We should be talking 2023 elections now.

There is no iconic love for Atiku. He has never been a man of the people and he is totally the wrong character to profit from any so-called PMB misrule. Very simple. He will be retired permanently in a few weeks. Mark my words.

Indeed. Selling out to Atiku for dollars was a big mistake for the PDP. Yet this is a party full of men who are thieves and their instincts will always lead them to cave in to greed. Nigerians will not replace PMB with Atiku. Simple issue to be honest. If better than Atiku was presented then I would say PMB can be defeated. Atiku, never.

Chai!! Atiku don suffer. If only you yorubas never white-washed the old sepulchre and taught him how to scream "Chainz", this insult to the Turaki by the son of a nobody would have been averted. Issokay
