Actually l would say it's not a step up if we are to consider the other options that were available to him.
I am talking about West Ham.

But that's not the issue sometimes a step up can lead to failure. And a step down lead to greater Success.

In conclusion a shrewd move, that gives him l think long term career progression. The French league is not as fast or as physical as the EPL, but most of all l believe he will be given IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY and if he starts scoring for fun. Which l expect him to do in a year or two his next move will be back to the EPL with a huge transfer fee.

So in my opinion a very good move.

Finally, he puts himself almost to be the next striker for the SE. If he plays on Saturday and scores against Strasbourg then he is going to AFCON, EOD.

I don't think anything should be unpardonable in football unless it is something to do with violence. Players are human and they can switch off from time to time. The problem is that when u are a striker or goalkeeper ur mistakes are magnified.

If you give your house to a Civil engineering company to build for you and the building collapses after almost completion due to some basic structural defects. Then you will understand what pardonable or unpardonable really means.

So much quality play in this Egyptian league. The only reason I don't like these North African clubs in their win at all cost syndrome. Both their players and fans are very aggressive.

What benefit does this bring to the Super Eagles?

By now we should be aiming to take the world by storm and possibly win the world cup 2022. We have a solid history in the 94 era that proves we can win the world cup.

We need world class players. Why are we focusing on old players from obscure leagues.

How can u even compare forgetting a knife in a human being to missing a goal? Football is a game, it is not life and death. The problem u have here is that most doctors have not forgotten knifes in their patients whereas all football players have made mistakes here and there. If the best medical doctors in the world were forgetting things in their patients upandown u could compare the two.
