go to "about phone" in settings and check the "baseband" option. if it shows "unknown", then u will need to flash d fone. But if it isn't invalid, download "Mtk engineering tools.apk" and google search "how to write imei for Mtk phones".

It's possibly the vol/power flex is bad and needs to be replaced.
