The money might have improved but the national pride has always been in the game. That is no reason to take it any further than a game. The only thing I won't accept is a player not giving his best. I can understand if the player continuously misses and offers nothing else but for one single miss I can't agree.

Some of those were just trickeries to confuse opponents about his intentions.

Talking about holding too much of the ball. He needed to do that on some of those occasions in a bid to open up space in the defense of the opposition. You saw how he initiated the Arsenal's only goal for last night. That was one of such moves.

These guys feel the worst because they know it was their mistake that cost their team but it is the job of fans, teammates and coaches to cheer them up and let them know that u win as a team and lose as a team. This is the most important aspect of sports, learning to deal with adversities together.

Stop condoning bad behavior. These people are criminals. Which law book says that it is ok to send a death threat or burn somebodies house down? These is no such thing as football being more than a game because that is exactly what it is. A real man knows how to handle losses.


The meaning of sports is to be able to fall, get up and try again. If u take that away, u are taking the whole essence of competition. This is the reason why referees are bribed and beat up.

When a player messes up, it affects them the most and for a so called fan to then kick the player while they are down is just inhumane. For example a guy is crying about losing his child at the market, would u then rub salt on it by telling the man that he was careless for losing his child in the first place?
