Iheanacho's is still more useful to the team than him presently. Aside the physicality and aerial threat u talk about what else can Osimhen offer? Can he play as an SS, an AM or a WF?
Sir, am sorry but I will disagree with you this time around. We have players in each position so no need for utility. moreso ,he is not playing neither is he improving. For now, osimhen is ahead of him

Haha.

What makes someone a criminal? No be when him commit crime?

Abi you think say na only cool headed people dey be Fans?

I totally condemn Football huliganism. But as I said before to most "Football is more than just a game".

If you destroy someone's property or send them a death threat you are a common criminal and nothing more. So you can't tell me that if a player messes up and is attacked we should accept it. Most these so called fans are those that can't get it right in their own lives.

We can debate about criticism but the rest should not be even given light of day

Forget the past the issue is Iheanacho's form does not warrant him making the AFCON squad, versatility or not

You cannot forget the past especially when that past was not like 3-5 years ago.

Iheanacho may be having a rough patch right now. But the truth remains that we do not have that many options elsewhere to throw him out of the team.

The Josh Maja u talk about let him start playing in the French league first and let Rohr invite him to camp first and let us see him play in the GWG before we conclude whether we should throw Iheanacho away because of him.

plus bear palours, are always less rowdy, neat, and you won't be disturbed,

and one is when use a bear palour, that uses satellite,

then come rain, or thunderbolt, you will be assured of watching on,
unlike viewing center

And again. My points remain: we should not condone huliganism. The fact remains that Football is more than just a game for most. However, fans should learn to show restraints when results don't go their way. That's all.

Hmm... viewing centres are even worse places to watch football compared to bars (let me not use beer parlors).

Modified: Or let me put it as Bars are even better and more decent places to watch football than viewing centres. smiley

This sentence is totally wrong. For tournament like the AFCON u need some utility players. Injury can set in and players can get suspended. U need players that can play more than one position.

Abi 'past' go play u for Afcon?

Iheanacho is not having a 'rough patch' he has been shambolic for a year, it's time to leave by the side and give those on a good form a chance

Iheanacho even with his current game level is still more likely to deliver in the GWG than those strikers you are mentioning.

I am not saying Iheanacho is indispensable. But the truth is the other options are not any better.

Iheanacho is in poor form, being in the premier league does mean anything

The guys firing in other leagues have done enough to justify their inclusion

Your logic 'A player having a poor form in the premier league is better than a player firing in other leagues ' is ill thought

Look at firminho playing as a striker against mancity and napoli and all are this season, and salah in the wings

Firminho play as an attacking midfelder most times because klopp is trying to accommodate shaqiri in the flanks then salah will move to number 9

If no shaqiri in the line up firminho is always playing as a striker and salah on the wing

I really do not understand what you are saying.

Based on my understanding, Firmino always plays the false 9 role for Liverpool and does so by either dropping to the midfield or wings depending on the strategy of his teams attack or the shape of the opponents defence.

With or without Shaqiri in the side, he always plays that way. The false 9 role helps utilise his best abilities, from his work rate, versatility to play multiple roles, passing, runs and finishing. He hardly plays without drifting to different pockets of space in the opposition's set-up.

We used that logic expecting fireworks from Kayode but when he played for the side, he was not stellar or firing on all cylinders.

I am all for competition and a proper screening should be made before dropping one for the other. Not because a player firing all cylinders in another league. Bring those players to Leicester City and they will be on the bench too.

Onuachu and Osimhen are not in direct competition with Iheanacho. Iheanacho is a utility Player. He plays as a CF, SS, AM and WF. It is always good to have such a player on your bench.
Unfortunately we don't have this classification of player anymore let's stop leading ourselves on

Well this is my first post here and I have a feeling Gonzalo higuain would perform well in chealsea..... I'm a united fan and don't give a hoot bout the blues but I think higuain will come good.....

Funny enough whatever I feel usually come to pass...

I also expect fireworks from Higuain too. The most important thing is that he excelled playing under Sarri's system and he is a perfect fit to the system. So Sarri would not do much coaching to get Higuain to blend into the system. It will be a continuation of a working formula.

You cannot forget about a player's ability to play different positions. This is vital in today's game. Utility players are assets to the team.

You cannot take the lunatics out of the equation. They are also Football fans. And so they must be in the equation.

Godwin Odiye's own goal was not pardoned, Yakubu's miss was not pardoned. Kaita's kick was not pardoned. I can go on and on. Ihezibue, being a young player and that game being a league game, will have several other opportunities to correct that error. But believe you me if that singular miss was responsible for the exit of his country from a major tournament like the WC the fans will definitely be hostile towards him. He may even receive death threats if he played for an African or S/American country.

I wouldn't worry unless he does not make the league team. The cup is not a priority for Brighton given the side that started.
