It's his ninth league goal of the season

charlesemeka85:
Victor Osimhen still proved the saviour for Belgian club Sporting Charleroi when he scored the goal that earned them a 2-2 draw with Waasland-Beveren at home tonight.

The 20-year-old Wolfsburg loanee had a previous effort ruled off before he finally got one that counted in the 59th minute.

He nodded home his eighth goal in the league this season.

His first effort scored from an impossible angle was chalked off by VAR.

Modest Charleroi have now shot into the promotion playoffs bracket on that back of this result as they now have 34 points from 23 matches.

Royal Excel Mouscron have another Nigerian who played today, 20 year old Sidney Eweka Friede. A center midfielder with Nigerian and German heritage.

Semilore Ajayi with a goal. He played the defensive midfield position. #Versatile

we no want. Rather, he should be the one to swallow his pride and apologize before we consider him.
Apologize for saying the same thing Akpoguma and even Leon Balogun said? Did anyone ask Leon Balogun to apologize for saying he'd have picked Germany over Nigeria if Germany had invited him?

Worrying times

Brighton has recalled defender Dan Burn, and Balogun is missing in the FA cup matchday squad

This is a huge reason our brother Charlesemeka85 has been clamoring for the invitation of those German boys.

Make una no worry yourselves... Tammy has his sight set on England already..
You can take a horse to the stream, but you can't force it to drink... England will soon call him up again and cap tie him..

Regarding Balogun,he never said so when we approached him..His chance of playing for Germany back then was 1 in 1000 ..
it was after we qualified for the WC that he made the statement

Point is Nigeria wasn't Leon Balogun first choice if he had the option of playing for Germany.
Tammy is gone but if he changes his mind - I won't hesitate to invite him.
Dude would easily make our AFCON squad as it is...

if i talk them go say i am urging the nff and rohr to go and beg them. our best centre half finds it difficult to get game time in lonely brighton. that should be a cause for us to get worried. the central defense position if the leanest in the current super eagles set up. imagine ekong and balogun gets injured, the only decent centre back we can call on is resurgent omeruo. the likes of ajayi and awaziem can they soak up big game pressure?

If Rohr invites him for the March games ask him to take his name off the list until he does something positive.

Which big game pressure? Are we playing Spain, Brazil or Argentina in the AFCON?

Yes, we are not happy Balogun is not getting good enough playing time at BHA. We are also not happy that we are not getting up and coming Defenders to put the current first teamers on their toes. But the fact of the matter is that the crop of CB we have can hold their own against any African opposition considering that the only opponents we will engage in any competitive games for the next 3 years or so are African teams. Even the weakest pairing of Awaziem and Ajayi cannot be as bad as we think they are.

IMHO our CB isn't our weakest part of that team.

In other News, our Player of the year award plaques to Musa and Oluehi have been ready for almost a week now.

I have not collected them because I have been out of Town. Once I get them I will snap and post them here before sending to the NFF by courier.

Happy Sunday all.

I don't expect you to say something else...
when he is of same tribe with you...

unlike komekn who bluntly don't hide his allegiance for players reason because they're borough boys or warri guys like him...
you silently do...yours..
ever since I know this...I stopped chiding forgiveness because many of us are hypocrites and even worse than him....

so I know even if Tammy was to insult the super eagles...you will never be embarrassed.

you're right oga icons.
save for the Libya rematch we have conceded less goals from our defense for sometime nah... the super eagles of before rarely maintain clean sheets...

the team weakest link I think is our top 9 position and the midfield...I thank God mikel has start to play nah and also.... hopefully one of oshimen, awoniyi and possibly the new lad Josh Played their way into the team ...
we can always be sure of support for ighalo from any of the duo...

and also....any news on ighalo possible transfer...the clock is tickening

You're over correct.

Awaziem hasn't been getting games. I don't know if Ajayi is on that level. I think the pool of defenders needs to be expanded so we won't be taking players to competitions "just because they're the ones available". We'll take players who are actually decent and are getting games. One of those German boys is doing very well now.

yes bro...that statement was demeaning.
he said even to the press and made mockery of the super eagles...
no reasonable player does that....
you don't go shade your motherland...like that.
I was listening to some foreigners documentary yesterday....from their lips you will know that Nigeria is one nation that often call all Africans whenever they see them.
a reputed huge nation of over 200M people called in to make their player...it was an honour...even the likes of kane will decline with respect...
I see that guy as a rude and proud kid...
we don't need him in the super eagles...

Somebody said Tammy will easily make our AFCON squad. I can't help but SMH. which AFCON squad? The first time we approach him , he decline in a rude, egoistic and disrespectful manner and some people want us to approach him again so he can nail us to cross abi? WTF If he finally decide to play for us , that means we will be having another vicmo situation in the next 7/8 years. That boy is rude and I see nothing special about him. We have got young and promising strikers in osimhen and Awoniyi and somebody want us to approach one overfed and over pampered kid. na wa o
