So Nigeria sent a special envoy Ibrahim Agboola to Kenya with a delegation to convey a message of condolence and goodwill following the terrorist attack at 14 Riverside Drive, Nairobi. Nice.

Hoping they live in Kenya, otherwise its another ripoff. Obviously we're close friendly allies facing similar problems but you just cant get on a plane and travel 3000 Miles to deliver a condolence message in this day and age. Unless Kenya is too special in your hearts.

As for me I think the Airline KQ shouldn't withdraw itself from the Skyteam alliance because alliances do assists its members in some way or the other like reduced economies of scale and boost in efficiency thus the member airlines will incurr little cost to run their operations to some extent.
On the other hand,KQ should continue joint venturing with other airlines such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines,Air France and just last year Delta of the US carrier signed a partnership deal with KQ in prior launching of Nairobi New York direct flights,this has enabled KQ to expand its routes around the world and also codesharing to further increase connectivity.

For now we can leave the plans being uncemented but I think KQ isn't supposed to withdraw itself from the alliance even if it rakes in little profit from there.

Only way is to split DRC Congo into 3 or 4 countries.Southern Congo HQ in Lumbubashi,Kivu and possibly Kisangani in addition to Kinshasa Congo.The current country is just not manageable and will remain hopeless.East Africa Nations should support the secession of the Swahili speaking Eastern Congo.The French can go to hell.That would mean all EAC countries agreeing to back the rebels there.I am sure China would support such a move.

The fundamental problems are these:
-the country is SCANDALOUSLY RICH
-weak state arms on all levels with most functions totally inadequate or completely absent like their army;imagine tiny Rwanda invading the DRC-its like Swaziland capturing Jo'burg!!
-ruthless envious neighbours

Ideally, the Congolese, recognising these obvious shortcomings themselves would cede the East to another nation state in return for safety and security and minimum infrastructure in exchange for goodies, ie,natural resources for say 30 or even 50 years.
I see a potential war here, frankly. IMO,its worthwhile for the potential goodies. Also the Tutsis are srsly overrated believing their own warfighting propaganda. What they've been doing is killing civilians and fighting weak forces like the Congolese army.
