Good thread! @ Op, please throw more light on why it is consider by a lot of Pastors that are into deliverance Ministry that a person is already 'married' spiritually when he or she is involve in pre-marital sex with different partners hence causing Marriage delays, marital challenges and closed doors

In the old testament His name was Elshadai, Jehovah, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi etc. But in the new testament, He's called Jesus. The name Jesus trumps all other names of God cos "Thou has exalted thy word above all thy names" Psalm 138:2. And who's Jesus? The living word.

As a believer, don't base your life on the old testament doctrines. Reading the book of Tobit et al from the old testament is good, but don't hope to find yourself there. Your place and your life as a believer is in the epistles.

If the Bible explained the concept of fallen angels (spiritual beings) and how they assumed (human form) to sleep with people. This evidently adds "lust" and "sex" to their resume.

Let me explain. It is the terminology that is wrong. There are demons and they can have sexual intercourse with man/woman.
I will not really call them husband or wives. In Genesis 6:1-6. Angels saw the daughters of men and saw that they were Fair, they came down and took up human form and have sexual relationship with these women.

Even the Jewish folks believe in the so called spiritual wife/husband stuff. It is in their in their books

You're right scientifically but are you right religiously? Remember this same science believes there's no God. Science believes that whatever you can't touch or feel doesn't exist. If you believe there's God (spirit) and you believe there are demons, why then do you refuse to see the possibility of incubus and succubus.
