Cobhams Reacts To Onnoghen's Suspension, Says Nigerians Have Turned A Blind Eye by ebunwajesus94: 5:59am On Jan 27, 2019 |
Cobhams who joined other Nigerians in reacting to Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen's suspension, stated that Nigerians have turned a blind eye. According to the singer and ace music producer, we will be too busy either at the clubs or churches, partying or praying, while the very sovereignty of this country is being jeopardized. Cobhams wrote; "If you do not see anything, it is because I don't want you to see anything, after all, what do I see, I don't see anything as many people wont see this anyway. They will be too busy either at the clubs or in their churches, partying or praying. While the very sovereignty of this country is being jeopardized. The very sanctity of our institutions being trampled upon and I am supposed to say nothing right? because I am a musician. What am I supposed to do? Entertain and say nothing about it. Well, I won't just say entertain and won't just not say nothing about it. I will say what I see, after all, I don't see anything." He said on the post of a black backdrop. https://unclesuru.com/2019/01/27/cobhams-reacts-to-onnoghens-suspension-says-nigerians-have-turned-a-blind-eye/ 21 Likes 1 Share

Fuckuignos: Follow due process bro.. The timing, the speedy nature of the entire process, are the issues. Buhari made a mistake.. Above all, the Judiciary is an independent arm of the govt.. It is like removing Buhari without due process.. what will u say if that is done to Buhari? Buhati is the leader of the executive, Saraki is the leader of the legislature, the CJN is the leader of the Judiciary. They are all independent and due process must be followed to remove them.. Has Buhari not been accused of harbouring corruption? Buhari was in the hospital out of nigeria for more than the number of days required for a president. He also withdrew money without the consent of the legislature, all these are impeachable offences, was he forcefully removed? No, becus to remove him, there is a long process informed. Anyone who forcefully removed him has committed an offence. Make una get sense small. The judiciary is not a ministerial position, sir. Removing the CJN this way is like removing Saraki, the senate president without following recall process. 21 Likes 4 Shares |
