By the time they start asking the CJN the business he's doing and the investment that gave him the 3M undeclared dollars, the CJN seat won't be his problem, he would be fighting to stay out of prison.
Go ahead and ask him just make sure whatever you are doing is channelled through the NJC.

BTW your impostor CJN will be disgraced tomorrow.

Are you high on cow dung? When did Onnogen nor any other supreme court judge say the CCT is the highest court on issues concerning code of conduct? The Supreme court remains the highest authority on all judicial matters.

Here's what would happen.

Wike and his gang of thieves would Appeal.
The FG's lawyers would use interlocutory applications to frustrate the appeal.

That's when you would understand that the game Onnoghen played last week, the FG knows how to play it too.

Charge and bail.

In one of the judgments delivered on July 12, 2013, he held that the CCT had exclusive jurisdiction to deal with all violations contravening any of the provisions of the Code of Conduct Bureau.

He also held that the provisions “expressly ousted the powers of ordinary regular courts in respect of such violations.”

You can tell a man is mischievous when he keeps digressing.

This issue is about Onnoghen not Dasuki or Evans.

The CCT would never listen to any court, especially one of equal jurisdiction, on something the supreme court had ruled on before.

Coincidentally, the same Onnoghen gave the verdict suggesting the CCT is the highest court when it comes to issues concerning code of conduct.
So in your wisdom it is mischievous to compare two related occurences? You claimed Buhari obeyed a court order and I asked you why he didn't obey court orders on Dasuki and elzakyzaky, are you saying that obeying court orders should be selective?

Walter onnoghen should blame too.....why is he afraid to reconstitute the NJC?...he probably knew that they will release recommendations for its sanction does leading to his suspension and possibly booted out by the executive's arm. as the head of highest judicial body in the country and senior judicial officer in the land, do they need to tell him to do the needful. imagine someone of that calibar failed and forget to declared his assets as required by law of the land. if CJN makes mistakes and u guys are defending him shouting no respect for rule of law after been suspended by PMB, where are u guys when he fails to reconstitute the body empowered by law to clear him of the charges against him by CCB? Some people are even saying PMB was one sided and that he did not prosecute the likes of babachir lawal, ayo oke and others. don't u know those people had been booted out as at today?. Our constitution is even rubbish, if not so how many of this corrupt element are in jail? infact, international community are also part of this if not so....why would they allow someone they said had a case to answer entered into their country without any form of arraignment? we beta rise up to help ourselves. this people are just playing our intelligent

Walter Onnegen in 2013, he said:

“If I may repeat, the Code of Conduct Tribunal has been established with the exclusive jurisdiction to deal with all violations contravening any of the provisions of the Code as per paragraph 15(1). This provision has expressly ousted the powers of ordinary regular courts in respect of such violations.

“The Tribunal to the exclusion of other courts is also empowered to impose any punishments as specified under sub-paragraphs (2) (a), (b) & (c) of paragraph 18 as provided in sub-paragraphs 3 and 4 of paragraph 18 while appeals shall lie as of right from such decisions to the Court of Appeal.

You like making noise simply to hear the sound your hoarse voice...

If Onnoghen was doing the bidding of Buhari and APC, would the scrutiny being directed by Buhari and his evil cabal been applied on him?

Can you in good conscience (if you have any) claim that there are no demons in APC whom Buhari is shielding from investigation simply they are his cronies?

You see: Whoever sows the wind should better be ready for the whirlwind...

One day Buhari will be history and those you who supported impunity and arbitrariness will have to face the consequences of your actions....

As a public officer, the CJN has already indicted himself by admitting that he forgot to declare certain assets, and there is no protection in law for this. There is also suspicion that he cannot reasonably account for the value of the transactions that have been carried out on some of his bank accounts. This inevitably points to the fact that he might have a case to answer, and this is definitely not good for a custodian of public trust in the temple of justice.

The CJN does not need and should not step aside( if that means he should resign) cos that would mean that the people who wanted him out for clearly political reasons would have won.

He should RECLUSE himself on matters relating to the investigation once a petition gets to the NJC ( by the way, am still not aware of any petition to the NJC on this matter which speaks volumes).

What of if he resigns and he is later found out to be innocent, does he get back his position as CJN?
The matter of innocence does not arise here. The man in question has admitted he is guilty. The reason he gave was that he forgot. Which innocence is there to prove again?
