ewa26: You know why. To help the outer fabric hang better/stop sweat coming onto the main layer. It’s mostly marketed as women’s clothing but men who wear wrapper sometimes wear half-shimi but only rarely. Mostly older men. Black with no lace is the standard style for men who choose to wear it. Sometimes white. It’s not a piece of underwear that’s worn nearly enough by even women to see it in a fashionable sense in 2019. They’re barely ever worn these days. 1 Like |
