Hahahahahaaa!!!

Well i'm waiting ooo.... Let's see what you can do.

I sha know that on this platform, no one would beat my PPR message. I'm not boasting oo.

The panel of judges would have no option but to score me 11/10. Unless if they are partial.

*sinister laughter*

Dear Sir/Ma,

Please, all the information you need is on page 1.

However, you need at least 8,7,7,7 in L,R,W,S in your IELTS to get considerable marks from the exam. That is, any figure less than the aforementioned, would significantly drop your scores.

Use the CRS calculator to calculate your scores . (You can google search "CRS calculator" and enter your information... to know your tentative score)

Additionally, most certificate courses are not recognized by credential assessing bodies. U may want to check through this thread if your certificate falls into this category.

... and I will re-iterate, pls go back to page 1 and search throughout the thread for all the information you need to help you through this process.

Good luck.

ibrahim2032:
Good morning,

I'm new to this thread. I can see a lot of abbreviation I am not familiar with.

I wrote the IELTS exam Nov 2 2017, but have not done anything since then. The discourgement has been the proof of funds. I'm ready to take a bold step this year but still not sure of the process, can anyone be helpful to explain the procedure.

I had 7.5 in speaking, 7.0 in listening, 6.5 in reading and 7.5 in writing in IELTS
I'm a mechanical engineer (BEng)
I've a professional certificate both NSE and COREN
I've 5year working experience in both Web Development and Engineering together
I will be 31 this year
I'm single
Funds not looking too good
I'm looking at Alberta, Ontario or Saskatchewan, but can be flexible

Want to know if I'm qualified, and the procedure to take.

Top of the morning to you guys.

Congrats to all the new ITA grabbers and PPR clinchers.

Just to reconfirm, can one use one's spouse 25% of Pension Fund as POF?

It sometimes happens. It could be a glitch or it could be that you did not calculate your scores well.

So, you may either recalculate or post your details for someone else to help you calculate. If it still shows a clear variance, then you may need to raise a CSE on technical issues section for prompt resolution.

Cheers**

Thanks. I have got the Tbill certificate, but my bank isn't willing to issue anything else beside that. Given that the investment was done for the sole purpose of using it for POF, I am worried that IRCC may raise questions later if I use only the certificate.
I believe people have used only Tbills certificate and their applications were successful. U can use your LOE to explain any cause of worry. All the best!

Nope nothing wrong.

Just ensure you don't forget to attach the old passport to the new one on the date of travel.

I believe that the old one carries the counterfoil visa.

Safe trip ahead.

But remember to state that it is accessible upon being out of employment for 4 months.

As for me sha I didn't tell hubby the full financially implication just told him let's write ielts first thn our eca....like that like that until I told him about POF and applications fees , u need to see how big his eye got (hehehehe) .....thats how we got here... One hurdle at a time

POF. 3 TB bought at different times invested for 6months then used both my n hubby's pension to complete the POF and also buffer just incase

Finally decided to Call IRCC on 28th January (Monday) loaded my phone with credit and kept calling but I couldn't get to speak to an agent until about 10pm our time tgen I was put on hold for 28mins and finally could talk to an agent, she said eligibility recommended pass, criminality in progress and security not started

Hmmm, dear friends I want to testify to God's goodness in my ielts exams. The contributions made by many people on this thread was really helpful. I did not have enough faith while I was preparing but I got encouraged by one toju who constantly sent me links to follow, she/he took it as a personal assignment to ensure I practiced at the same time I read what worked best for others. I want to say that the effort paid off, to the glory of God, I made an aggregate of 7.5 with 7.0 being my least score obtained in writing and 8.5 being my best score obtained in listening.
I want to encourage those still practicing for the exam not to lose faith, it is doable.

Congrats dear..Please can you send me the links too..I am preparing for mine too

@Aygal. Thanks.
To your question, What is your job description? (list over 5 of them) . You need to be detailed, so we can help you look up the nearest NOC.

Also what is your wife's job description?

NOC codes are not based on what you studied in school, but based on what you're currently working on /the description for the job you want to claim points for.

I've been thinking a lot about healthcare in Nigeria lately and the viral video of a man crying in the middle of the road because of his baby who has a hole in his heart.

Truth of the matter is One medical emergency, one major surgery...and 90% of us will be flung into abject poverty

That is if those 90% can afford the bills in the first place. Without BEGGING for it.

It’s scary. It scared me. It should scare you.

We CANNOT afford to rest yet. Get up & get to work

Study for that IELTS, do everything you can to overcome any obstacle in this process because our lives and that of our children depends on it...LITERALLY!

Thank you so much. I’m at the verification stage and like you said it’s taking so long. Different excuses; “no light in school, laptop isn’t working, pay me some money to make it faster”.

I guess I’ll keep pushing. Thank you again.

Hello,

Yes, I did one from HNAUB, although not mine. They request for 60K CFA to send your transcript and certificate/result to WES Canada through a DHL service. It usually get to Canada by the 3rd day. The only process that takes time is for them to respond to the query from WES Canada. I guess it's because of the language barrier. However, what I did in my case was to get someone go directly to the office and help them reply the email back to WES Canada and it was fixed and WES concluded the verification.
