lastempero:what kind of senselessness is this? A rail line connecting itakpe(ore deposits )-ajaokuta(steel company)-warri(port and refinery) , needs more "extraterrestial" priorities other than these. All you guys anticipate is failure, when that doesn't come and you're shocked by reality, you switch lines to "priority". 6 Likes 4 Shares |

erico2k2:Guy e don do !! Even if PDP started it and APC completed or continue with it is it wrong? Is it the party that started the project that matters or the progress of work being done? Why are we so daft as a people? Always arguing over things that are irrelevant. Talk about the progress not who started it. 1 Like 2 Shares |

batstan: If you are not an engineer you won't understand what iam about to tell you.ajaokuta was a bad business idea right from conception.steel companies are not planted that way and that is the reason it has not seen the light of the day.it was a scam. 2 Likes |

Re: Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri Railway Project In Pictures by rusher14: 2:39pm On Jan 31, 2019 |
lastempero: What are you talking about? There is absolutely nothing wrong with the concept, other than the typical primitive and avaricous nature of the average Nigerian. There is abundance of raw material, it isn't too far from the sea through which the inputs and products could be shipped. You don't need to be an engineer to understand, and I daresay, being an engineer doesn't even translate into understanding its viability or lack thereof. 2 Likes |

rusher14: Talk with fact if you want to argue, how many tons of steel or your proposed raw material have been lifted from that site or you first create a transport system when you have not actually carried out your feasibility study on how viable your business will be or you are just zombieing around on a phenomenon you don't understand. For your information we industrial clusters that needs that infrastructure more. |

lastempero: Please explain infrastructure? |
Re: Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri Railway Project In Pictures by Caseless: 2:49pm On Jan 31, 2019 |
lastempero:"Moribundity" must be having a new meaning. Ajaokuta was 98% complete before the Russians left. The only thing needed are external infrastructure or what I'd like to call "add-ons"; that's rail line where this raw materials can be transported from the mines in itakpe to the steel complex and from here to the ports for shipping. Ore is heavy. It will take 750 trucks to feed the steel plant everyday. Just imagine what that number of trucks on that road everyday would mean. The port in warri is completed or near completion. In fact, a concession process was achieved on that port last week. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Caseless: Don't mind that fella. Should Atiku suggest what is being done right now you would hear him confusing it like someone doing crossover at MFM. Right now, we aren't even theorizing. We are talking of tangible the eyes can see, but he's quick to poo poo it. Like that axis has witnessed such development in decades. Some people sef. 1 Like |
