Hotstepper: Is it possible to get a doctor correspondence. Maybe that will also help |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by placebo(f): 6:18pm On Jan 31, 2019 |
You can try to get a correspondence. You maybe successful. I did try. I contacted the doctor’s office but his receptionist told me no email correspondence and they don’t even provide assistance with anything related to immigrations. She however said that they can only confirm my appointment. Due to time constraints, I just went ahead and wrote a LOE stating details of my appointment scheduled. I also got assistance with my insurance to write a guarantee of payment and I included that. |

placebo: Thank you so much. Please can you share details of the doctor so I can see if I can try to book an appointment too. Is it in Toronto? |

Re: Giving Birth In Canada by conyema12(m): 10:19pm On Jan 31, 2019 |
Good evening all. Please I would love to know my chances of getting a Canadian visa as a father whose wife is going for child birth. She already has a visa and had been there before now for first delivery. However I was occupied with work that period. I do not know how compelling it would be by using my wife's delivery as a reason for travel. Thanks 1 Like |

Hebrewmama:From 4-6weeks on an average.. you will have to convince them you ain't going to have another baby in Canada unless you plan to, get ready to back it up with documents cos I believe now, they believe every one that previously had a baby in USA is coming to Canada to have another even when some are not |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Candybright: 11:27pm On Jan 31, 2019 |
aye88:they may not see the money as sufficient especially since you mentioned Child birth. Flight ticket for 3 of you is already over one million. How much come remain. I think for anyone to mention childbirth, you should have more than enough money showing in your account. You should reapply with your spouse or alone |

Pls wch is letter of intent, is it the TRV application. I equally chose tourism/visit and stated in the TRV application others and noted tourism and childbirth. I was equally rejected today and how can I reapply. Do I ve to open another acc or ds amen acc, will apply alone ds time.. I applied wt hubby and dota and attached everything necessary. I was d main applicant cos hubby passport will expire in a year. My stmt was almost 5m, hubby 8+m. I attached our insurance cert and properties including pics of my house. My organization wrote letter of introduction and annual emolument of 11m. I equally attached my 2 kids US birth cert, travel history to US thrice same wt hubby and dota which is obvious I can never stay back in Canada for wtever. These were dr reasons , pls advice on d next step needed.

Nonkala:I THINK they are trying as much as possible to deny anyone that's had a baby in U.S thinking everyone is coming to have another baby in Canada. Was your U.S visa expired? |

Re: Giving Birth In Canada by aye88: 8:56am On Feb 02, 2019 |
Nonkala: I think the issue is childbirth. Like you, if I had known, would have just applied as tourism only and leave childbirth out of it. Then deal with it later at the poe. Now that one has applied for childbirth, you can't reapply and state tourism alone. So the deed is done. Your applications seems good. The money there is more than enough. I think you can reapply and address those reasons for refusal. |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by aye88: 9:49am On Feb 02, 2019 |
Candybright: Why don't you reapply with your child alone. Leave your hubby out of it. He can reapply later. You can still include his bank statement . Leave him behind to show as your ties here in nigeria. You don't need to open another account. You can still use the same account. Address the refusal in your letter of explanation |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Nonkala: 12:49pm On Feb 02, 2019 |
Yea am replying alone, wt nobody now, let me achieve my main aim Shd we stl maintain childbirth now or leave it at tourism, for me not putting childbirth, if am successful will deal wt it at POE How do I apply again on my existing account, wld ve preferred paper application if not for my USA interview in 2wks. Who do I address my letter to cos d London visa office treated my application, shd I write back to dem or Lagos office. Pls ur mail or mail me on chenonye96@yahoo.com let’s relate better. Tks aye88: |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by aye88: 3:40pm On Feb 02, 2019 |
Nonkala: Please maintain childbirth. They have your records already. Saying you are going for tourism alone would only complicate the issue. It's not this new application is several months apart. You don't need to address the letter to anyone. Just write it and upload it in the section that says if you have additional things to add on the trv application form. I've replied your mail. We will talk better that way. Waiting to hear from you |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Candybright: 10:58pm On Feb 02, 2019 |
Nonkala:You can't change your story now, you should maintain same. If you want to attend U.S interview in 2weeks and you intend to apply by paper route, then wait till after your visa if you still have time. Your visa won't take time this time cos they already have your profile and will make a faster decision. I still think online is better so you fix in every Info in it's space. Address your previous refusal and try to convince the VO of your purpose now and why you will return after your visit especially since applying alone now. Good luck |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 1:29pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
hello dear, please maintain child birth and apply alone. I always think that couples should not apply together for now. Send the same docs as bedore but write an explanation letter and attach to them. An immigration consultant recently said that they r denying alot of ppl going via online route cuz its any officer in any country that can deal with the applocation. He suggest paper cuz officera in Naija understand is better nd situatoon of things there. So.moving forward for now, if one has plenty time, do paper . Wishing u the very best and it will end in praise Nonkala: |
