All these states can't generate 1 billion dollars in 3 months and we say we want to develop?

The tax coming from the public transport sector should be over 350bn a month

This is really embarrassing I swear... A whole state can't generate 1 billion dollars a year

How is that even possible

The money a state governor rakes in monthly is greater than what his state makes. Isn't that awful?

Facebook made $6billion dollars in its first quarter of 2018. If a company founded in 2004 or so could make this sort of money then I wonder why a state with human and material resources would make so little.

What is the investment portfolio of our states. It is not to just collect allocation and chase citizens for tax. A sensible state should have a wide investment and business portfolio. Imagine if a state like Ekiti owned 3% of Facebook. It would have been raking in billions by now.

Let all these states start investing in startup companies both locally and abroad and see your funding sources immlrove drastically.

Nigerians resent the idea of paying taxes to generate revenue for development. Until they embrace tax payment the IGR from the states will remain low.
