Chuwaa: Lol, My man nice argument...lets assume we are in court. In the general term and conditions of taxify and I quote 6.5. "Please note that Taxify is not obliged to pay you the Fare due from the Customer if the In-app Payment failed because Customer's credit card or mobile payment is cancelled or is unsuccessful for reasons not attributable to Taxify. In such case we will help you in requesting the Fare due from the Customer, and shall transmit it to you once the Customer has made the requested payment"...Taxify knows in app-payments can be cancelled for whatever reasons in this case fraudulent transaction.. 6.7. You hereby warrant that you understand that In-app Payment does not supersede the requirements established by the laws and regulations, e.g. your obligation to provide the Customer with a receipt printed out on the printer...That's also from their general terms and conditions...So really its the driver that should provide a receipt of consummated transaction and not the other way round. Im certain that if this matter goes to court, taxify will quickly settle out of court and will never sue the rider because of bad publicity,, Yes drivers are not employed by taxify neither are they agents but they are bound by contractual agreements which ensures both parties deliver on their obligations. ie taxify provides the necessary tools and technology for the driver to receive trips and execute same under the general terms and contracts which was signed by all drivers. The lady has a right not to pay for that trip because it was fraudulent and the driver did not provide her an invoice at her destination. I think we agree it would be pretty easy to prove that the trip was not ended at her destination. 1 Like |

deedee44:What a moron_ If the driver had ended the trip as he was supposed to, would we be here debating? The driver was dubious, simple! Blacklisting the card was the best thing to do. What if the driver decided to drive to abeokuta and ends the trip at 25,000? I know your dumb thieving ass would still be supporting the driver while asking that she should pay 25k since she claims to be able to afford first class? What a discombobulated moron_ SMH. People like you should never be allowed to: 1. Have an opinion 2. Reproduce So according to you Arabian mumu, international flights only take off from Lagos, therefore, one cannot connect a flight from mma2? Or because she mentioned when she returns to the country automatically means that she travelled out of the country on that very day and therfore has no rights to be in mma2? You are a complete moron_ 16 Likes |

izzou:so many times on card trip, riders would hurriedly jump out of my car and say "please end the trip" I've never try to drive an inch b4 ending the trip. What d driver did was criminal. The rider on d other hand should have reported the case to taxify. Blacklisting her card is a good option. That's why I love uber. 2 Likes |

Chuwaa: No I'm not a staff brother...those quoted laws are on their website and every driver attested to same before being allowed to drive....mostly we just click the I agree icon but we never read it...I'm guilty also as i have driven on the platform about a year ago and never read the terms and conditions but na when kasala bust we go revert to the law....the general rules and contracts favours mostly the riders and the company except were the riders damages the instrument of transport or acts in manners that are not deemed appropriate 1 Like |

Please if you are in any group of Uber or taxify pass this message to all drivers and car owners. From 11th of February to 14th of February no driver should drive again after 8pm. Indeed Uber/taxify app and any other e-hailing firm will be on but stop driving at 8pm for the safety of your life and car not to be damage. From 11th to 14th February is election week. Do not drive on Friday. Tell any of your family members to come home quickly. Explain to the person that gave you car for delivery or better park don't work that week. For hire purchase people quickly tell your partner about this week. This is for the safety of our lives and property. Thank you. Please pass this message #DriveWithYourSense 2 Likes 2 Shares |

I have a ride sharing project that I need review on Its a platform where ride prices are determined by riders and the drivers. Its independent of any price regulations and gives freedom of bargain . the model goes thus. Search for a ride and nearby drivers will be listed and you can chose any and quote a ride price and the drivers either accept or decline . so it gives the privilege of bargaining . Also it will be zero charges from the app unlike the 15% and 25 % we are free and the only monetization is adverts . Pls I need your advice on this and any suggestions will be very welcomed Pls your opinion is highly needed 4 Likes 1 Share |

enlighten me before I make mistake please I got a Nigeria used 03 corolla on H.P at 1.9m. Vehicle is okay except the fact that recently, it shortens engine oiland when the owner called in a mechanic, the mec adviced him to ring it. We asked if ringing it would solve the problem and for how long... He replied ''it depends on the mec doing the job and the type of rings used '' that he would use original Ring and it would last nothing less than a year. Note: the owner bought it Nigeria used, I have driven it for 6 month and about 3 others have also driven it for e-hailling before me but I don't know how long. Here are my worries : *is taking an engine ringed car at 1.9m sensible? *would it serve me ? ,*what are the disadvantages ringing a car engine Also note that the mechanic bought the original ring of 35k. |

I have always observed that when there is a GPS issue and the fare is less than what it should be, the riders are always eager to say, "don't worry i will rate you 5 stars", why don't they just say it is even lower than the minimum estimate when they booked the ride. I took a rider from surulere to Lagos Island, it took me over 10 minutes to drive to her pickup point, i even endured the bad road, ended the trip and saw N1,000, she smiled and said "I will rate you 5 stars". You might be wondering why i did not do a fare review before confirming the price, sometimes out of shock you forget to do the right thing. It was also on Taxify so i just rendered community service free of charge to the rider. Do Riders believe we use 5 Stars rating to buy fuel into our tanks? 15 Likes 1 Share |

MoonlightDrive:Is it not what I said here sometime ago, I don't care about the Yeye rating. Who rating help, anytime I get one start I always know it's one disgruntled rider. Not like they didn't enjoy the but because the fare was high they will rate the driver low |

nitigriti: Sorry to disappoint you, but half nude ladies don't move me. I can give several instances of when I carried them. They don't move me one bit Fahrenz: Let me buttress Fahrenz post, by sharing my experience last week, picked up a lady somewhere in lekki phase 1 going to one of the beach resort... she looked pretty ... well are they not all with their pancaked face, even if you were a saint you could not close your eyes to her natural endowment, but we are professionals and have a job to do. I moved forward, with the intention of letting her sit at the back, but she decided to sit in front, so i started the trip. i drove slowly especially on bumpy surfaces, because the way her jugs was bouncing left and right, even 1 was fearful that her button might not be able to contain the container, this was truly what they call "OVERLOAD", but i told myself i would not be moved. Then she brought out a small case, opened it and started massaging her legs slowly and methodically, the scent was overwhelming suddenly alarm bells where ringing, i actually wanted to roll down the glass, i am not her intended victim so why is she making me to endure this "poisoned chalice scent"! The scent had its effect, i dropped her off at her final destination, and in my mind i wished her the very best on her mission! I don't know about you guys, but i have observed something most heavy chested ladies, prefer to sit in the front rather than the back seat, k, this is my statistical observation! Perhaps the heavily endowed ladies sit in front to ensure we drivers rate them 5 stars! Perhaps the number of stars we give them is an assurance that Mount Olympus has not fallen! 1 Like |

We have moved on and you should too. You said drivers have a boring life, but you took a stranger's picture and formed a story to fit your narrative, and the worst part is the story added up, you took up a sizeable time of your boring life to think it through. BillGoldberg: 2 Likes |

Brother 06 corolla in Lagos is just 1.8m(last week self pricing) while do you want to buy problem? Even with the same 1.9m you will get a good car that will last you in the business, when you ringed the car and still use it for uber, I assure it can't last you six month. mabeni: |
