If you have genuine intention, there is no way you won't receive your pin in Nigeria. I receive pin from Google using my address in Nigeria except you are part of those people that use 234 as their postal code. Google your area for correct postal code, if you leave in remote area, it will be delivered to your nearest post office. Meanwhile, if you insist on UK address, do your research there are companies that give you a virtual address and will send you your pin, simple. Daminovic: 1 Like |

dustydee: It’s the statutory amount that I’m quoting. Statutory Maternity Pay ( SMP ) is paid for up to 39 weeks. You get: 90% of your average weekly earnings (before tax) for the first 6 weeks. £145.18 or 90% of your average weekly earnings (whichever is lower) for the next 33 weeks. 1 Like |

Good day house! Please what's the allowed kg for carry on luggage on British airways. Some say 7kg, on their site I'm seeing 23kg. I'm a bit confused. Secondly, can I travel with indomie? Thanks |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Yinkzy03: 3:23pm On Feb 02, 2019 |
Hello, Carry on should be 7kg i think.... Yes you can travel with Indomie but the quantity is what i don't know, i think a reasonable number that wouldn't make anyone think you wana go sell it thereby evading duty payments... smilz: 1 Like |

smilz: British airways has started selling hand baggage only ticket. This is different from standard economy which is 2 bags of 23kg and 1 hand luggage of about 7 - 10kg For those ticket that are hand luggage only I think it 23kg but you need to check or call the airline |

I'm on tier 2 visa and planning to apply for my mum as I'm expecting a child. I want her to come around for support. I've only spent 5 months in UK. I want to fully sponsor the trip. I intend to submit these documents *Coverletter that will explain our relationship and that I will fully sponsor the trip *5 months bank statement (Can I print out the online statement or must it be stamped by the bank?) *5 months payslip *Tenancy agreement *1 month utility bill (I've been staying in a shared apartment) *Receipts of money sent to her since I came to UK *Her bank statement (just stipends sent every month by children) *My BRP and passport data page Like how much should I have in my account as the closing balance? It's my salary account and I have less than 2k in it. Can I transfer more money into this account, will it raise an eyebrow? What other documents will I need? Your responses will be greatly appreciated |

My husband's and son's application is still ongoing. Can I concurrently apply for my mum? I really need them around during the delivery NB: The address I'll use for my mum will be different as I've just moved to a new house. Hope this won't affect the application? Heritagee: |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by EngrSaks(m): 4:28pm On Feb 04, 2019 |
Heritagee: The major things the entry clearance officer looks out for are 1. Can you sponsor the trip, that includes her flight ticket to and fro, her accommodation during the period of stay, her upkeep and the duration of stay. The longer she stays, the more money you should have. 2. On her part she must prove that she has strong ties to Nigeria meaning she would return after the trip...strong ties include having a good paying job, landed property, a business and things she would want to get back to. Her finances should also be well explained, usually cash deposits into her account need to be explained especially if the deposits are in large sums of up to 50k at a time...cash deposits from you is kindof a disadvantage as it shows she would be dependent on you during the visit 1 Like |
