How did they even pay the money into his personal account in the first place? A trust account should have been opened for that purpose, failing which the foundation should have held the funds in his account.

It isn't stated anywhere in the reportage that he absconded with the money and abandoned the kid. Is this some sort of one man getting too greedy and not willing to share a loot?

They need to do a proper investigation on this matter...I see a very elaborate and well planned scam and trust me the so-called foundation shouldn't be ruled out just yet.

They should never have deposited the money directly to his account but through a platform who will make sure the child gets the right care.

Online soliciting for fund will soon be a crime. Though, this is a side of the story. Family members and friends who neglected him are probably after him because of the money. And since they want him nearby so they can get their share, they might likely be the source of this news. Let us be patient to really get the full gist before making conclusion. We are so fond of judging without hearing all views. As soon as one is accused of scamming, he is guilty. Hmmmm. Not so everytime. After thorough investigation and the man is guilty, he must be punished. Scammers are evil.
