if this is the first time you're hearing/reading America has homeless people, I think you don't read anything from the media you're blaming. You've been focusing only on your own media.

Their media doesn't hide that they have homeless people in American cities. I've always known this and seen it in the news, movies etc for a very long time.

I lived outside Naija for a little while
During my first winter, I walked up to a gathering of people smoking and asked them if it warmed them from the inside
They said not at all, and that is why I didn’t start smoking. I would have smoked coal if it was going to warm me!
