Good evening all.
I'm getting tired of this bank type corolla fa. It has emptied my pockets and drawn me into debts.
The problems I try to fix keep resurfacing.

Ac gas was leaking. Ac man said it was the evaporator and valve. Changed those, leakage still occurred after 2 days.
He checked again and said it was a hose. Replaced it, same thing. I met someone else in apo who told me the culprit was the compressor.
That's not all. Engine vibrates violently in the engine bay when I try to reverse (its a manual transmission)
Car also bounces noticeably when I switched gears. I've changed the back and right mounts so far.

Now the engine is shorting oil. Only me o

What do I do?

Very good car.. Just make sure you follow owners manual and use the rite engine oil .. I have 05 c240 for sale too.. Both good cars and comfortable ride [s]. Parts for c230 are more avaliable and cheaper than c240[/s] .. Both are great cars.. Both will not tolerate the wrong use of engine oil .. Please and please follow owners manual.. Don't go and use 20w40 oil . A word is enough for the wise.

car is a bank type (2003-2006) replace all a/c hoses, they have tried. Replace compressor.
For the vibration replace clutch plate and disk with the original brand new ones. It's very simple.

C230k parts are more expensive. Engine is more expensive, bumper of C230k sports is more expensive. Shocks are more expensive too.

Well we can both agree both cars are great cars no doubt.. Now from my own experience so far, I was told by not one but two different people that the C240 4matic parts are expensive. And the 4matic tends to give more problems coz of its 4wheel drive.. Which is hard for me to belief. I just feel that generally that Nigerians clueless when it comes to maintaining their cars. So I brush that side off completely as been part of not knowing on how to take care of the cars. Now the secondly ,when I brought in my C240 , I had to change the alternator. The alternator for that c240 goes for 23k ,which I verify by two different people. And the labour was 8k. The mechanic that fix the C240 4matic stated that the parts are plenty in the market, but are more expensive than C230. And that I should have gotten the c230. Now this statement is coming from a mechanic that only specialise in Benzs only.. So now am at a cross road now , who do I belief now , A mechanic that specialise in Benzs only or a guy that solely sells cars ?

You were misled. The 4matic option has more components and their shocks are more expensive than the traditional RWD.

That said, complete engine of M112 2.6 is no more than 120k toks, but complete M271 engine is 250k or more.

The shocks of C240 RWD is actually cheaper than C230 kompressor sports cos the C240 is luxury while the C230k sports is a sports tuned.

The brake rotors on C240 are cheaper than those bigger heavier cross drilled and ventilated brake rotors found in C230k sports.

Bumpers on the C230k sports are similar to AMGs and are expensive to get, so are the exhausts.

Tyres on C230k sports are staggered setup 17" but the C240 are 16" non staggered. The C230k sports set up are more expensive.

Hello guys. Pls I need a quick solution. My Peugeot 307 came with no Ac only fan. The issue is the car interior gets very hot for my liking. Infact sometimes I have to wear shoes because it’s blows hot air over my feet while am driving plus little heat make me sweat and uncomfortable. Plus the weather is getting hotter these days. Pls what can I do to reduce this heat. Thanks
