Yes it is possible. I used my AOR to register for the session.

It doesn't matter. You can land anywhere if you are not going through PNP.

I'm open to correction if I'm wrong.

At what point do are we supposed to get UCI after submitting our application?

No, You can combine them as long as they meet the NOC you are claiming points for.

If you have 3 years + work experience in one company out of the 5 for the NOC you are claiming points for then you can stick with that company alone. The rest of the work activity can be reported in your personal history. The most important thing is satisfying the requirement for the points claimed. You do not have to include all the 5 establishments as long as you have exceeded 3 years plus work experience in either. This saves you having to provide work reference letters from all the 5 establishments.

I hope this helps.

Good afternoon people, I took the first step towards my PR journey today, I pray that favour shall be all our portion in this journey.

I have about years work experience but in like 5 different establishments, and internships included, please in calculating the CRS points, in order to get the points for having 3 years experience, does the experience necessarily have to be in one role/company?

Any help in clarifying this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys. I need urgent advice. Let me explain my situation. I have 3yrs+ work experience working on my own but my business has no tax papers , just business name registration with CAC.
If it is to get paper from another registered company, I can do that no problem , but that will be getting documents saying what I'm not really doing or experienced in.
What do you advice me to do? Will I be able to use my own business as my work experience?
Thank you

Be sure you don't misrepresent yourself by presenting another company's documents.

Search for "self employed express entry" under the travel section in the nairaland search bar. You will find answers from people who have successfully gone the self employed route.

There are other ways to prove legitimacy of your business apart from tax papers like bank statements, online presence and invoices/receipts

Thank you very much for your reply, the maximum I have is 2yrs+ in one of the companies, the rest are less. And I'm also worried that the company is a small firm, with no online presence, is that going to be a problem? Maybe them trying to verify it and all?

I've been digging on the thread about WES evaluation. I stumbled on the attached photos in Part 1. It may well be that there's no difference between WES and IQAS for evaluation of LL.B for lawyers. Is this still the position oe things have changed?

boundlessjoy, did your ECA for LLB with WES carry anything like "first professional degree"?

Please see the attached photos.

Hello all i finally took the ielt exam oooo. Here are the scores....speaking 7.5 reading 9.0 listening 8.5 then the foolish writing 6.5. I really felt bad..... calculated crs score presently is 393 but if writing is upgraded to 7 my score will be 439.(imagine the difference 0.5 can make) Peeps advised me to go get a remark. I opted for it and still waiting for the outcome.... do you think i have a chance?...and while waiting would u advice me to start up my evaluation(ECA).....because of the stress of waec and all for WES can i use ICES instead? Your tots pplllsssssss

So sorry about your IELTS result. As per your credentials evaluation, if speed is important to you, then go for WES (meaning you can quickly sort out your waec and transcript), but if speed is not important then you can use ICES.

Good morning all,

Please, I'm asking for a friend: which is better for Masters in Law (LLM) evaluation, WES, IQAS or ICES? and why?

Thanks...
People often say IQAS is better for LLM, but it's a lonnnnggggg wait, about 4 months. It gives naija LLM the most favourable rating

You should have started your ECA long before the exam. Don't waste any more time, start immediately. ICES is good.
Wish you a favourable EOR

What is on the Canadian equivalence field is what matters, unless you have the power to be asking for appeal. Or believe your letter of explanation will do the magic.

I have 3yrs+ work experience working on my own but my business has no tax papers I didn't show any tax documents either, just the one I collected at FIRS during Business Registration. , just business name registration with CAC. This was what I did.
If it is to get paper from another registered company, I can do that no problem , but that will be getting documents saying what I'm not really doing or experienced in. If you want to claim points for your experience in this company, let the reference letter support what you're claiming and what you're applying for. I claimed 5 years experience, 3 from my registered company, the other 2 years were related though.
What do you advice me to do? Will I be able to use my own business as my work experience? Yes, use your business work experience as long as you have the required 3 years work experience. You may also use your previous experience if you wish
Thank you

I repair and sell phones and computers and peripherals , with no online presence, I don't either, where would I get free money to host a website? Are you kidding me? is that going to be a problem? I don't think so. Maybe them trying to verify it and all? Well, provide receipts, CAC docs, reference from customers, update your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. [/quote]
