In here, we communicate with family, people and everyone in Amharic. We only use English at English class. We learn other subjects in Amharic even if the books are written in English. The only time we use English is at English class. If they didn't force us, we will speak a broken English. But still forcing wasn't a good idea.

If a school forces you to speak English now, you can go and inform the government. Measures will seriously be taken on them. There is no game like this today

1) Nairobi generate more taxes than Lagos can ever dream of. I estimate Nairobi revenues to be as high as 10B a year - and low of 8B.
2) Kenya 2018 total national revenues was nearly 20B dollars. Consisting of around 15B ordinary taxes and 5B mostly AIA( Appropriations in Aid = fines, fees, payments made to gov agencies & departments)
3) Nigeria last I checked were happy to collect 10-13B dollars as taxes. Possibly majority of it from oil revenues (8B dollars)
4) All Nigeria states can barely collect 4B - which majority of IGR generated by Lagos state. This is why Kenya won't be going federal soon - Nairobi would simply gobble all the resource.
5) Kenya is a unitary system of gov meaning counties are more glorified local authorities.They are not allowed to levy taxes. They probably collect 500M dollars a year from little fees and suchs.
6) Nairobi generate easily more than 1/3 to 1/2 of all kenya taxes. They cannot and will not be allowed to collect and keep taxes & starve the rest of the country.

Now what is difficult to comprehend.
