I have a reason when I mention the 4th and 6th grade thing. The new generation kids are taking a bad lesson and they are buying unessecary stuffs from pharmacies. For real! People are now shouting on TV to stop such kind of teaching. Our PM him self admits that the curriculum isn't right.

Let me help. In the first 5 months of 2018 - KRA had collected 6.3B dollars that you're quoting.

2018 KRA collected 15B dollars as taxes.

Then add another 4-5B dollars collected as AIA - these include fines, fees, license that gov collects from judiciary, gov agencies, parastals and etc.

Total Kenya revenues including counties are 20B dollars. About 20% of it's GDP. Lagos , the 35 other states and federal gov plus oil struggles to get there.
