Atiku is not a Nigeria citizen by birth. And as such not qualified to be president of Nigeria. His place of Birth only became part of Nigeria in 1961 after Nigeria independence and after Atiku was born. Atiku is a Cameroonian by birth. Atiku loyalty to Nigeria cannot be guaranteed.

Qualification to the position of the President is provided for in Section 131, which states that – A person shall be qualified for election to the office of President if –he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
he has attained the age of forty – years. he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; and he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.

We need some activist lawyers to go to court and challenge his qualification to contest. The framer of the constitution knew you can be a Nigerian by other means apart from birth. But in thier wisdom deliberately restricted the qualification to be Nigeria president to birth Citizenship.
