Good morning house. Please i need opinions of gurus in the house.

I have my interviewed booked for 18th of Feb but it is highly unlikely that i will be able to fund before or few weeks after. My funds is short of 900k Naira which I have an option of a loan facility from a credit company but the interest scares me (3.9% per month).

Another angle is that I have 2 boys and I plan to bring them over afterwards. My fear is that repaying a loan while working in Germany might affect the timeline I have to bring my boys over.

I am considering cancelling my appointment and reapplying during winter semester. That time my funds will be ready and I won't need any loan.

Please I need good advice as I am in a state of confusion. Thank you.

Hi, please respond to my pm as I have some personal questions I need your response to. Thanks

The person has to book appointment and do it by himself, dont try to put urself in problem when you get they. Because after they collect your documents for certification, the vo will ask you to wait for one hours to verify your document. So imagine you having two different names.

Secondly, you must go with the printed application, for example that you want to apply for 3 schools, you must go with 3 application form.

God bless you

Dreamchaserz:
Thanks Deustchemann. You are highly appreciated. Please can I certify for someone too or does the person have to book appointment himself and appear at the consulate?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Chizzy4God: 10:05pm On Feb 04, 2019
Please don't stress yourself asking because is not possible. I went they to certify my document, i no what I saw. They take their time to go through it very well. And your international passport data page will be in all the school.

Deustchemann:

I doubt if you can certify by proxy at the embassy. Since they'll be using passport and all. I have an appointment on Wednesday morning. I can ask the security folks if they allow.
But I'm sure you can do that at courts sha.

Stop putting out your private number on public threads. Not safe as different kinds of people do read it from different countries. Use the naira land contact system

Good day house, please I wish to apply for PhD but i feel Phd in Germany is higly competative and my profile isnt strong. My undergraduate GPA is 2.5/5 but my masters GPA is 3.98 / 5.0. Should I apply to study for another Master's degree or do I stand a chance of getting a PhD admission ?

You really don't need to get to part one, as you might basically find similar things here as well. Just start from page one of this part 5. Guess you will see almost everything you need to learn. cheers

From post's here it's cost range is #200-#500.But mind you, read the guideline on certification from each school, because some strictly require certification by A German Institution in your home country.

Getting a PhD position isn't so much about how strong your academic profile is but more about your research area, how robust your past work on the subject is and what your proposal presents.

The main issue you will face is finding a Professor in the same field that is willing to accept your application (which is where the quality of your past works in the area and how convincing your proposal is comes into play).

If you are willing to fund your PhD studies, then you will find that it would be relatively easier to get a professor to accept your solid proposal. The main problem faced by most PhD applicants is that the professors can't help with funding so they usually reject applications.

If you can find some kind of sponsorship or self fund then you shouldn't have any issues getting a position.

Your B.Sc result does not matter because you have shown that you can be considerably better as seen in your M.Sc.

All the best

A first university degree in the field of health sciences providing qualification for professional practice with at least 180 ECTS or an equivalent university degree is required.
Diploma Supplement/Transcript of Records.
Proof of special knowledge of the English language Level C1.

For students without a German university entrance qualification, proof of sufficient knowledge of the German language Level B1.

Please I seem not to understand the bolded requirement for MSc Health Sciences in Hamburg Uni of Applied Sciences.

that can fund a block account ?
from your question I now know u don't know how scholarships operate if you get international scholarship like daad you won't need block account the scholarship letter is enough for them to issue u visa and am not even sure u pay visa fee also you don't send insurance to collect your visa cos all has been taken care of .
Except the scholarship is not recognised by German government that when you need to fund your BA so go get the daad scholarship and you won't even need BA stuff hope this helps

The bolded means you have to provide German language certificate of level B1 for the admission process.

Good day house, I'm currently at ikeja high court now. Am I to certify with a notary public or before the commissioner for oaths?

NB
My school did not specifically require
certification at the consulate.
