Hi Guys,

Please, can anyone direct me on how to make additional subscription on my Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund account?

Would I make use of the Top-Up section on my dashboard? I am being directed to enter my debit card details and seems I would be charged an extra 100 naira on the 25K I want to transfer. I want to be sure I am using the right means.
That #100 is the fixed charge on any amount. However, you can as well make a fund transfer to their account and upload your POP

Thank you.

You can, however it will direct you through interswitch/ the other third party.
Alternatively, you can transfer the funds straight from your bank to their account, screenshot the transaction number as well as the successful transfer page. You can then log in on the web and upload your proof of payment. That was the instruction I was given this morning when I raised a similar concern by their staff in charge of MMF.

Yes if you use the top up section in your app interswitch would charge you N100. Also if you do transfer your and it's not same bank you are using you would be charged transfer fee. With these two you do not have the guarantee that your money will reflect in your account same day.

So for me, I will say if you have the time just stroll the any of their bank branch, collect MMF top-up form fill submit and be sure it treated in your present.. It should reflect at the close of business that day.

It's not only Nepa bill that can be used. water or waste bill. Any utility bill that has the address you provided on the account opening form. However, if you don't have any, they use your bank statement which of course will have your address. The last resort could be you use the Nepa bill of any family member or friend where you can be identified.
NB: The address you provided on the account opening must be the same of any utility bill you are providing

You can still use stanbic even without visiting their bank. Download the app, register with your BVN and you're good to go. Although, i think there is a limit which will be lifted when you visit the bank and perform the KYC stuff.

Nice job guys. Pls is it possible to open accounts with two different mutual funds? I'm about to open with AXA mansard right now based on several recommendations here and I'm also looking to open with either FBN or Stanbic

Hi Desanta,

How did you submit your KYC documents without visiting a branch? I’m assuming you’re referring to the normal bank account and not the Mutual Funds. If yes, would you mind elaborating?

Thanks.

I sent an email to them stating my intentions.
In their reply they sent a list of forms, about 8 in number which I filled scanned and sent to them with my means of identification, Nepali bill, and pass port photography. Since then I've deposited 800k into my account and my last withdrawal this morning is 600k.

In money market fund, will the accrued interest at the end of a month be added to start a new capital for the next month or the interest for the second month still be based on the starting capital?
