Food rich in fibre works well for children with constipation e.g oat, Apple. Banana causes constipation for some children while it's also rich in fibre. So if you have been giving him banana, I will advice you reduce the quantity.
water please!!!! It wont kill, thank me later, the child is constipated, force the child to drink it even if you have to wrestle with him/her pin dem down, don't be afraid lol

Thank you
Ibuprofen or any strong painkiller (if you have ulcer, take one that's safe)
Cold cabbage in your bra helps just a little

Hi,

Please see your Gynae (preferably the one that helped manage the PCOS) he/she is in a better position to advise you. I personally suggest you go for non hormonal BC such as an IUD instead of hormonal methods

Anitaamich:
Please mamas, I want to ask question about family planning.. I went to health Centre for consultation but didn’t get any useful answer. Is it wise for someone that battled with hormonal imbalance(PCOS) before childbirth to go on implant? One of the nurses told me birth control corrects hormonal imbalance but I’m having doubts about that.. will it worsen it, I would’ve gone for Billings method but my cycle was so irregular before I gave birth, so I’m kinda confused? Can someone with PCOS be on any kind of family planning/birth control? Please don’t read and pass.

Oats or pineapples works for us all the time.
you can buy prunes/plums too.

No matter what you do if veggies arent incorporated,
1 gallon of water will do nada. You see carrots and ugu, make it and huge part of his meals.Veggies soften poop more than fruits and water.

You see bananas, bread and milk, milo, rice etc reduce it or give him fruits/veggies soon after taking it of with it.Oats is powerfully fibre laden and will help the system moving.

Also try to give him warm water when you remember.my kids take it every morning then rush to their potties

We will do veggies because i have also seen that water and oranges are not doing much. Oats he wont take, cuz he doesnt like it. Thanks for your input.

Oranges would help a lot of you peel them like tangerines and make him chew the whole thing or just give him tangerines.

Happy New Year Ladies.

May it be a truly remarkable one for us all. May we and our family members be kept away from the reach of wicked and unreasonable men in Jesus name. Amen

My sincere condolence to Beydew, May God reach you in ways only He can.

On an unrelated note, I admonish us all to follow @Obis.Ora on IG. She basically propels women to be their best. ( A little disclaimer: I dont know this lady personally and have never had any dealings with her, i just learn stuff from her page)

Being a mummy can be overwhelming amongst all the other things we have to handle daily and its easy to forget the place of taking care of ourselves. Please be guided.

You are all doing awesome jobs being Mummys, May God continue to give us wisdom.

Express at intervals with your hands, especially whenever it's hurting. Within two to three days, milk production slows down or is halted all together. Weaning is not supposed to be a feat at all at all.

I usually cut into bit-sized chunks that he can easily pop into his mouth. I only blend when i'm making smoothies for him.
By the way, you can introduce other veggies he wont readily accept to him through smoothies.
I use pineapple or watermelon as the liquid base then add then add like 2 other veggies/fruits.
our usual combinations are
pineapple, cucumber and carrot
watermelon, ugu and banana

Cheers.

Alright I will... thank you!!!
My little contribution will be not to do any kind of family planning now till after at least your second child except finances is absolutely too tight. It's a more delicate situation for a former ttc mom. Billings natural family planning can still suffice for now. My opinion though.

I'm so scared of approaching this weaning period. Ordinary 12 hours without breastfeeding, my breast is already hard like a rock and aching me coupled with headache.

I don't want to imagine the discomfort I'll endure for probably a week or less before the thing dries up. I hope i won't be tempted to have my baby suck out the discomfort for me lol.
