Wow, that happens to be a really important part that you left out. I think you should try to contact WES immediately (ensure you append your reference number to each correspondence that you send out to them). Kindly let them know that you have sent your documents which they can expect to receive any time soon but that you had missed the step of including your reference number on the scratch card. They would naturally be in a better position to advise you on what to do. This is just my own opinion, anyway.

TIP: Contacting WES through their Twitter account has always worked the quickest for me.

When they receive it, it'll take two days for them to upload it on your account, from the day they upload that your documents have been received, it'll take five working days for the evaluation to be completed

So sorry I am just seeing this. You can do your affidavit anywhere. Remember to take along your passport and a photocopy of your waec result to be attached to the affidavit. If you have drafted the affidavit yourself, signing at High court registry at Ibadan is 200 naira. If not some centres close to HC at Ibadan can help you draft they will collect 800 or 700 naira but you have to follow them into registry to sign because the commission for oath will not sign it without you being there. If you have to go to WAEC office, there is a woman who does it there right in front of WAEC office but it's 4000 naira.

Hi Thelma, I understand it can be really useful to send documents together in order to save costs. However, you should only send related documents in a single package/parcel. For instance, it is okay to send your WAEC scratch card to WES together with your WAEC confirmation of results as these are clearly related -- This is what practically everyone has done so far, including myself. However, you shouldn't send your degree certificate together with your WAEC parcel as these are unrelated and may raise a flag with WES.

I would suggest you do the following -- if you use an iOS device, try to download an app called iFax from the Apple app store. Next, have your certificate scanned to PDF in the exact way you want WES to receive it. You can then send your PDF certificate as a FAX message to WES (WES Fax No: +1 416 972 9004). This was how I sent mine and it was accepted.

Hello bro, thanks for the observation. It is good to know you sent your documents that way and they were accepted. I can now move from speculation based off personal opinion to relative certainty when I talk about the issue of sending documents to WES [Note how I had said, “...these MAY raise a flag with WES.”].

I, for one, only learned about the possibility of faxing certain documents to WES from someone posting their personal experience on here so yeah, thanks again for the additional insight.

You can send your WAEC confirmation with scratch card together when applying at WAEC office.

Regarding your degree certificate you can FAX to WES and it will ve accepted since it require only photocopy of it.

The WES U.S. fax number is 212-739-6100.
The WES Canada fax number is 416-972-9004

You can make use of HELLOFAX in sending it. The website is https://www.hellofax.com It is FREE OF CHARGE. And it will be sent and delivered immediately but it will take 2-3 days for WES to update your profile. My own case was the next day to be updated on my profile.

You scan your certificate with Reference number on it ( write the reference number on a white paper then place it ontop of the cerificate)

NB: Make sure you write your reference number on it.

Okay I get you, but what is the use of sending a copy of your WAEC certificate? Is there some other benefit to it that we seem to be missing? I mean, you still get to request and pay for a confirmation of results from WAEC regardless. Sending a copy of your degree certificate(s) is completely understandable since WES has categorically requested that, but sending a copy of WASSC? Anyway, I wish us all the very best.
