It is a crime to have computer in Nigeria, Are all these arrests internet fraudsters? because the Nigerian police are just too keen to intimidate people especially the young who may not have any link to internet scams
I was once arrested at Amuwo Odofin many years ago for sending a mail to my brother in Ukraine, the ignorant Police man said, "Na so una go dey send YEEMAIL, later una go buy big moto" I told him i would not be involved with such foolishness and that i was sending a mail to my brother who left Nigeria years back

I was arrested and taken to Festac Police station, I had to print the evidence mail and held on to my diskette on which my word documents were typed just before sending

They started their gimmicks for bribe, I stood my ground that i was not doing anything criminal, my conscience is clear of their accusation

they delayed me for hours and later released me after wasting my time

I hated the Police before then and more after then, I don't trust them one bit

sometimes they make up lies against the young and vulnerable just because of the bribe they hope to collect

when you arrest them and publish them online, State their offence and what led you to suspect they had a link to the crime you accuse them of so that the world will judge intelligently

Operatives of EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters, following a tip-off and surveillance carried out around Agric Estate, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The suspects, who were rounded up at about 11pm on February 4, 2019 include, Oluyomi Kadri, Adeseye Ogundele, Olasoji Alabi, Abdullahi Saliu, Abdullahi Ibrahim and Abolarin Kayode.

Also arrested during the raid, were five ladies, Momoh Aminat, Momoh Nimota, Kelvin Blessing, Sunday Ruth and Oyinlola Awokunle. Among items recovered from them were land purchase documents, three exotic cars, laptops, internet modem, mobile phones and ATM cards.

Some of them have already confessed to their involvement in various forms of internet fraud. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

bru u couldn't be more right. I had to screenshot this for my WhatsApp story. You see the main problems with snitches is that most of them don't know they are snitching well some may do and still do it on purpose. You live in an environment and suddenly someone starts to call you "dollar" or "cashmoney". Instead of you to immediately reprimand such name you are nodding byou head to it. Now that same person might be in a bar and you pass by and he shouts your name and immediately starts talking about you. There are officers in mofty there and they will scope out information out of that person. The person has no idea he has snitched on you. Now like you already said, some Boyz can't even stay alone but instead form this nonsense group called HK ,I have no idea where ever that name came out from. Next thing they start to sag, fry their hair, draw tattoos...now these are just fashion but when you start to now do this in group then it becomes a thing. The best way to live as a geeboy is to be a snob, you might think people will snitch but it's not that easy coz they know nothing about you. If they come to your house to charge don't allow them. Even for we legit guys we still have to fight enemies talkless of you that is on the wrong side of the law.
