Good day house

I'm a prospective partner in this business and I desperately need advice

I have a 2010 Camry which I intend on renting out so my question is how much is reasonable to demand for daily or weekly remittance ?

And also how do someone go about registering the car on the platform ?

Thanks in advance
P.S
Everyone is here to make money if someone is saying he or she is making so so amount per day leave him well alone he is only deceiving himself and his pocket if he's lying about it by if it's true its very well not our business.
I'm tired of coming to this thread to see arguments
Gracias

I have one of my neighbor who is into Uber that used to intimidated me with figures then (salt and paper things plus screenshots), he later had an accident after fixing the car he always call me now and then to transfer money for him to complete his weekly remittance.
One would have thought that with such figures he will have a lot of savings, I asked him he said he himself can't even explain what's happening.
One of the things he said was that the money doesn't come once so as a they come u also have small small expenses.
He gave me an instance assuming he make 15k at the end he buy fuel 4k, eat, pay tolls and do other small small expenses u will be left with Oga money for the day. And sometimes he have AC wahala like compressor issues because he actually changed the compressor twice the first one was bought brand new that's like 25k
My point: what I see on my dashboards doesn't always translate to how much cash I have at hand as in my pocket.
Again some of the people that successfully run HP at a point defaulted some didn't even succeed the first time but the experience helped them later.

If you have a sizable responsibility you will know that 120k a week you see on the dashboard (assuming is consecutively) can barely sustain you, only those into the system understands.
That's why some partners who added their driver to their account will be seeing figures and be wondering why the drivers find it difficult to deliver.

I don't just want to talk but if what fahrenz posted here is what he make I make more than him but I am not here to measure prick.

Funny enough your write up is the opposite of my experience.. Now I had this uber driver that drove for me few months back .. When it is time for him to pay his rental, he will come up with excuses.. Sometimes he will pay 15k for his rental. I now be chasing him for my balance. He will come up with excuses not to pay. It's either he has too much responsibility or he has family issue. One excuse he gave was that his brother bash a partner's car etc and he has to pay .. Just one dumb excuse to another. And we do track the car ,and the car is constantly on the road. And the guy does not have his own place to lay his head. He either crashing at a friends house or another.. Another driver of mine asked him to join money together so that they can get a place to stay .. He said no, I gave him so many chances till I got fed tired of him. He owe me over 80k plus.. So please can you explain to what is going on with the guy ?
My point is that a lot of the drivers are very greedy.. How can the guy u mentioned above not know how to keep or control is money.. There is something that your so call neighbour is not telling you .. I don't belief one bit at all .. I had another uber driver about 1 year plus ago. He stop paying is weekly rental and every Friday he will take drive out of state to Ondo state. This uber driver has a wife in Lagos , and we come to find out that he has another wife outside Lagos. So do u think a guy like that will be able to make his payment? A young man in his late 30's with two wives. Unfortunately your story above is a total BS for me .. Tell that your neighbour "we don't believe him he needs more people "

Possibility does not make it consistent... even from your screenshots, it tells it all...

I dislike people who talk too much without substance.

This is my current weekly earnings without stress.

Adding the 4k offline I did yesterday i'm a bit above 51k net this week. Minimum I need is 120k. I have 69k to go in 4 days.

I will like you to bet against me making 120k this week, and then bet against me making 120k consistently for the next 8 weeks so that these talks will stop.

Now you are talking!
This is what has been asked of you, weekly dashboard CONSISTENTLY for 8 weeks not cumulative.

You can do it, agreed. But what percentage of experienced drivers can achieve this not to talk about newbies you advised taking up HP.

Let me say this here...i still have my daytime job so uber is a side hustle. However I know I possess a level of intelligence that is higher than the average person out there and I believe I use that to play where driving on Uber is concerned very much to my advantage and not many drivers out there can get to that level no disrespect and probably fahrenz or r.... also possesses same level of IQ or maybe even more and so he utilizes it to earn himself good bucks and this is not salt n pepper things however this does not now mean every other driver can achieve this some can not just meet up no matter how hard they try because that level of reasoning is not just there however there is one key fact in all of this.i have been driving for over 20 years in Lagos and before I started on Uber I would say I had knowledge of roads in Lagos a good 60%-70% But knowing roads and being intelligent all still took a back seat, I still had to understand many things and tricks of the trade meanwhile I was also battling regular weekly Ladipo visits so trust me no newbie should jump into HP e-hailing if they love demself just go looking for rentals and learn the ropes for at least 3-6 months before you then say you want to go the HP route Becos by then you would understand the terrain, even understand your spending habit and savings mindset to know if you can run that race well even more but to be sincere some of these HPs are too expensive, finance houses are still much better.I sold my Peugeot after seeing Hell with it mainly Becos it was bought 2nd new and the previous user apparently had damaged it so much but I love that car so now am also on GO with a corolla and for 6 months ave not had to visit a mechanic other than servicing I can want to look back on the peugeot days as wasted but it was a much needed learning curve now I can afford to save at least 1k daily just to at least have the savings mindset.so please newbies don't go HP...go rental first but people like fahrenz are rare even some oldies can never meet up such targets no matter how much they try exceptvthru dubious means....just my 2kobo

This is impossible you can't make such an outrageous amount in just one day

very possible.. I ve done Abuja twice this January.. 50k each per trip.

It's not easy o. And very boring unlike driving within Lagos.

Aside that.. I had to change my car shocks due to multiple potholes I hit. Reason been that the trip seems like it won't end and I had to speed up maintaining between 100km/h to 120

Next time, I 've promised myself that I won't do below 80k for that trip or they go take a flight... 3 riders per trip.

But

It is impossible to do that online without inflating the price very high on uber app or taxify app

So the question is
... If online = you are a big liar

... If offline = you are lucky and congrat

The lazy drivers association will still insist that you used lockito

Like one rider negotiating N3k for ipaja - ifo just because Uber app was charging N2.5k atmost.

Caveat emptor! Newbies, investors; doing #120,000+ net every week on Uber + Taxify consistently for 2 years is not beans and garri.
Think well before you make your business decisions, to avoid stories that touch the heart.
Consider yourself warned.

I have noticed over time that drivers only think about the fuel they will use from point A-B. They don't think about their own safety and that of the car.

Some drivers go to Ibadan for 10-15k and I just shake my head. I know for sure no sane car owner will go for that amount because he knows he will likely come back to do repair. But drivers on rental don't care. After all its the partner that will repair.

If you travel interstate bear in mind that you will likely change atleast breakpad, tie rod and ball joint. If you don't hear the noise after that trip. The noise will surely come in next one month.

What if your car break down around Sagamu and you have to tow the car. Number 1, your rider will not pay you the complete agreed sum. Now you will have to add money from your pocket to tow the car back to Lagos.

It is not every trip you jump on. What is the point going to Abuja and you don't have atleast 50k profit.

You claimed you made 42k on Uber today 6th of February 2019. People expressed their doubt and somebody asked you for a proof and you show us a Taxify screenshot.

Not claiming its not possible o, but did you see the date on the top of the screen? It says 3rd of January 2019. Please can you explain the disparity in date and app or is there something am not understanding please?

I did 25k 2rd of January 2019 when surge full all Lagos.. beside dat I did only half day.. 10hrs rather. 12noon to around past 10pm

Difference between gross and net. Let's stop twisting this thing.

Gross in green - 333,100
Net in orange - 288,895

288, 895 / 4 weeks = 72,223 - fuel = net

If app shows 2500 as estimate. The least that I will collect with abeg is 3500 and that's even for a trip on a smooth road without traffic.

If you want me to come and pick you early morning before 6am. I will add my own inconvenience fee. Because you don short my sleep.

If you no agree. Carry your wahala go. Infact, I don't like offline again. They come with their own wahala and overtime familiarity.

You have a good and solid point.

You don't need to jump fence just because people don't see things your way.

There is a saying many people take for granted, "Making Money is VERY SIMPLE, managing and multiplying money is DIFFICULT".

Just like the Bible story of Jacob & Esau.

Give a Hunter (Esau) a Forest and he would turn it to a Desert, give a Cultivator (Jacob) a Desert and he would turn it to Forest.

Nigeria has large deposits of Natural Resources but still POOR and Economical backward whereas places like Singapore and Japan, has nothing called Natural Resources but they are Rich and Economical Forward.

Don't jump fence on this discussion, you're making sense. grin grin grin

i am waiting for you to analyze the remaining 104k for the week, so that you will calculate yourself and see that anyone on HP left with 104k every week after buying fuel, is on the path to greatness.

Please note:

my calculations was on 160k gross weekly

which is never possible without jackport bonus of 40k and yet it cannot Still net 120k..

If I'm to used your gross.. the driver will be pretty much more lesser than 70k
