lol first of i'm not south african i be proper naija second i agree nationals from other african countries don't get received with open arms in SA compared to the way the rest of the continent was so supportive during the apartheid era. i would agree that alot of nigerians up to no good might have contributed to South Africans paranoia but even at that you still get the impression as a foreigner who is a black african especially that you are not welcome. maybe i'm reading things wrong but it's definitely noticeable in subtle ways here and there.

about recession well a lot of G7 countries like italy, america experience economic downturns from time to time so that point is mute.

at the end of the day if south africans say they don't want black african foreigners to come to their countries it's then the responsibility of the rest of us africans to fix our individual countries so like we nigerians say ''dey won't use to do shakara"
