I have seen photos of Accra and honestly I find Accra better than any Nigerian city - including Abuja. Accra looks like a car city with low density buildings and the CBD is mostly lowrise but very impressive architecture. I would choose Accra over any Nigerian city any day.

why Ghana is not building skyscraper is simple, most of this ill informed illiterate Nigerians does not know .Ghana is prone to earthquake disaster. Accra has records of damaging earthquakes dating as far back as 1636. The last three major ones occurred in 1862, 1906 and 1939. the worst one Accra has seen recorded which is one of the most destructive earthquake ever.

The one that struck the city and caused a lot of damage and loss of life and property in 1939. it destroy so many rich sites and since then goverment has taken caution not to build skyscraper or limit it and many considerable attention.


if Accra is free like lagos, by now, Accra will be counting skyscrapers, yet with the lowrise building, she can comfortably compare with lagos.
