If you are lucky enough to be in the money over there you can have an amazing quality of life with a big house, swimming pools, advanced private medical care, luxury cars, servants, eat out every night etc. If you are poor, you will probably live in a shack and have no access to mains electricity and running water or medicine.

Which country is that? Because if you're talking about South Africa, let me make a few corrections. 1st of all, living in a shack doesn't stop anyone from getting medical care. 2) Shacks don't have electricity because it's an informal settlement. Meaning that those people are in a waiting list for RDP houses. 3) Shacks use community taps. There's one in every informal settlement because water is a basic necessity. So yes, they do have access to clean, running water & healthcare. The backlog for public housing is long, so it might take a while before all those people can be moved elsewhere.
