I think Pastor Chris is right on this one.
Adakintroy:

Vote for the sake of the gospel...set aside ethicity and religion. ..

What do you really want from us? I can I vote for gospel sake and still set aside religion. Abeg unable this is the last mind I have left. Confuse it no further.

Re: Chris Oyakhilome: Don't Vote Candidate With No Knowledge Of Business Or Economy by Solarone(m): 9:26am On Feb 07, 2019
How i wish other Pastors can be bold enough to say this to all their members.
Oyinprince:
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Speaks about Why and whom to VOTE for in 2019 ELECTIONS.

... I want to say this to you, and it's very important. Don't be guided by ETHNIC influences. Be wise! The elections have something to do with your LIFE & your Future.

...sometimes people are excited about those they want to bring into office. I don't know whether they ask themselves the most important question. - Are you going to be happy in 4 years time? Do you like a candidate because he is likable? Or do you want a Candidate because he or his running mate is from your area of the country?

...they are together because of their ethnic origin, but then they decided they are backing a particular party. Its like Hausa's would support this candidate, the Igbo's would support this candidate. Christian's DON'T THINK LIKE THAT!

....when it comes to elections, the first thing you think about is about the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. What would happen to it? Because it is in your hands. Your decision would affect the Gospel. That's the first thing that should come to your mind. - Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness. That's priority.

Now, I don't in this way mean at all that the candidate that is born again is the right candidate. My knowledge of history have shown me that the Church have suffered most in the hands of supposedly Christians...

...but the guy that generally had the fear of God, and didn't know anything about being born again, he feared God more and was afraid to do anything against the CHURCH.
But when you have a born again, he was the one that started a regulation against the church. They went into office to do something against the Church, like the church was the problem.

DON'T USE THE CANDIDACY OF A BORN AGAIN TO MAKE A DECISION. Not at all!

You need a government that understands how to make the economy grow. Because when you elect people into office they are responsible for managing our corporate wealth.

ANYBODY WHO HAS NEVER RUN A BUSINESS SUCCESSFULLY, WHO HAS NEVER LEAD PEOPLE SUCCESSFULLY cannot lead a nation successfully.

You cannot expect someone who has never manage the economy of an organization to manage the economy of a Nation. It is foolishness to think so.

All the candidates have records...don't use records of what other people said about them. Use records of what the country was like...

LOL. I only care about Pastor Chris' name being attached to failure so I will dispel the false notions and innuendo. I already gave you an example of false quoting which some people call paraphrasing. "Don't support anyone based on ethnicity". Well, the 2 major candidates are from the same ethnic groups. One group in the west endorsed particular candidate and he spoke against such. Only Afenifere is from the west that endorsed Atiku. That someone is born again or Christian is not a reason to vote them. Both PYO and Peter Obi are professed Christians add Chris Okotie to the mix etc etc.

Like I said to you, there are so many other things he said which I don't even feel the need to post here. But if you cut out the places that feel he is throwing shade at your candidate and leave the others that are blanket statements. You are indirectly making him say things that he did not say.

How can I be bothered about something I already know the end of? I am only here because of Pastor's name. I personally don't believe anyone who can think or loves Nigeria will vote for your candidate. But that is my opinion.
I don tire for you self. With your long post, you've still not showed me a single phrase in the OP that Pastor didn't say.
Just show me what I'm making Pastor say that he didn't say. What I posted in the opening posts are exactly his words. You can then show me those things he said that were removed

Btw, if you are Igbo and you're planning not to vote because of Nnamdi Kanu and his imaginary Biafra, you are not well. You need to see a specialist to check your brain or a preacher for your deliverance. embarassed

I wish you know who you are sending a link to. I just asked you questions based on your interpretation of what he said and you are sending me a rubbish link.

"People get excited when they are ushering in a new government". Welps, if the candidate you want wins, won't that shade catch him?

"don't support someone because of ethnicity". The 2 leading candidates are of the same ethnic fold.

"a group in the west endorsed some candidate and they are not a political party"

Which group in the west endorsed a candidate? Who was that candidate?

You people can see reality barefaced but you rather circumvent to live in a false reality. Let 16th come and go so I would watch all the backtracking you will have to do.

I revere the MOG, but that is exactly how Prophet TB Joshua goofed and tried to redact the false prophecy.

Your economy is in shambles? The one were pensioners are being paid? Infrastructures are being put in place? You are out of a recession? That economy? The one where scholars are being paid on time? The one were states were bailed out even when oil prices plummeted?

I have never seen a more hypocritical bunch than so called Christians.

Man of God indeed, is he supporting Atiku?
A politician with penchant for corrupt practice....
If you doubt me, ask baba iyabo ( obasanjo)

I have asked Obj and he said I should not mind you. He said after using VAR, he has now come to the conclusion that Atiku is not who he thought he was. He said Atiku is the best among the candidates. He wants Nigerians to vote massively for Atiku.
Now that you have heard the latest revelation from OBJ, can you now reason beyond rumours.
My humble opinion grin

All you said is not translating to economic growth. Nothing is working instead it is television growth you see on tv. Inflation rate is still high, unemployment rate still high, businesses are folding.

Rubbish link right, it leads to a video of your Pastor and it's rubbish link because you don't like it. grin
I've also been wondering why you think Pastor was shading candidates there, you've mentioned "shade" more than once already.

Anyway, do enjoy the rest of your day.

I watched the live communion service. The link is rubbish because it is a snippet. Pastor also said he does not follow Nigerian/local politics - so he was giving information based on what he heard which is what I pointed out. The issue is, I am showing you the contradictions and incoherence between what he said and what you interpreted. You went as far as saying he was endorsing your candidate. LOL.

I said he goofed with the information he was passing which unlearned people will later use to say he made a prophecy. I asked you; if he was trying to shade the present govt, why say a group in the west endorsed a particular candidate? Can't you see both statements don't work?

Then you don't know what economic growth is. You can't build infrastructure in a bad economy. Where will money come from? Do workers work for free? Yes there is unemployment. That number has shrunk from 2012 to present day 2019 which means there is an upward trend. 112M people were living in abject poverty in 2012. Today, it is just 87M. Nigeria moved 4 step upwards in our transparency index. Where will you get money to pay pensioners that were being owed since 1999 if the economy was failing?

Because Pastors have stopped receiving millions from thieves in govt trying to buy a conscience they now want to turn around to misinform the congregation. That is shameful and diabolical.

Bros, please show me where on this thread I said he endorsed a candidate. Please, show me.

Very good! You just confirmed that you think your MOG goofed. I hope you don't think he goofed in other messages you've heard from him too. I'm really surprised this is coming from a son in the house. What would you have said then if he had openly endorsed a candidate you didn't want? I'm sure you would say worse.

You just dey there dey follow yourself argue. You brought in this "shading", I never said Pastor was shading anyone from the onset, it was after you started mentioning "shading" and that the message was incomplete that I said if we consider the whole message, we'd vote the present government out (Note: I have still not mentioned that he was advocating for any particular candidate on this thread o).

Now, I'm asking you again to show me what I "interpreted" on this thread and also show me anything in the OP said that isn't Pastor's words.
Re: Chris Oyakhilome: Don't Vote Candidate With No Knowledge Of Business Or Economy by Maestro21: 1:08am On Feb 26, 2019
I purposely ignored your message till now knowing I would come back here to say "I told you so". I wouldn't really say more than that, except I am a son of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and will be that till Jesus comes God-willing. But I know when he is airing his own misinformed opinion and when he is speaking from God and I know which of them I follow to the letter.

In that communion service, pastor put a caveat that he had not been following Nigerian politics so he was unsure. That was an indicator that people should not have been going up and down trying to use Pastor to endorse a thief.

I hope you will learn your lesson now.

Cheers.
